119th Kansas Wheat Festival
Wellington, Kansas
Celebrates Wellington,"Wheat Capital of the World", with events for the whole family including a variety of contests, picnic in the park, games, carnival, car show, bed races, arts and crafts show, softball and volleyball tournaments, street dance, ice cream social and of course, a great hometown parade.
 

August 23-25, 2019
Cowtown Days Festival
Ellsworth, Kansas
150th Year Special Event!!!  Celebration of the area's cultural heritage. Cowtown Parade, entertainment, re-enactments, food, craft booths and demonstrations.
 

September 7, 2019
Annual Lenexa Spinach Festival
Lenexa, Kansas
Lenexa was hailed as the “Spinach Capital of the World” during the 1930s. Each year, we celebrate that part of our history with the annual Spinach Festival, a fun, family-oriented event that draws thousands of visitors from all over the area. It’s a festive day of music, entertainment, arts and antique vendors, food, a recipe contest, kids’ activities and so much more – all set in the beautifully renovated Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park
