    We're celebrating National Tomato Month with our Ripened Recipe Contest. Share your favorite recipe(s) ... and you could win Dei Fratelli products for an entire year!

Perugina & Fine Cooking Chocolate Dessert Challenge - Deadline: Dec 1, 2014

    Perugina, the legendary Italian chocolatier, is excited to announce its first-ever Chocolate Dessert Challenge, in collaboration with Fine Cooking magazine, and just in time for the holidays. So break out your favorite chocolate dessert recipe or create a new taste sensation and your recipe could land you in New York City for a weekend of chocolate indulgence. 
    All you have to do is feature at least one Perugina product and whip up a delicious dessert for Santa that will keep you on his good list for a lifetime.  All recipes must be an original creation.
    The Grand Prize winner of the Perugina & Fine Cooking Holiday Dessert Challenge will win a chocolate lover’s trip to New York City including:
       • Round trip air travel for two to NYC from major airport nearest winner’s residence
       • 2-night hotel accommodations in NYC
       • 2 tickets to Perugina’s world famous chocolate school at Eataly NYC

Stuff Your Turkey Recipe Contest - Deadline: December 5, 2014

    Send us your very best recipe  for a chance to win accolades, bragging rights, and prizes. This contest is open to all professional chefs (savory and sweet) and home cooks.
    Professional Chefs and Home Cooks will be judged separately
    Submit your very best, favorite, original turkey recipe, along with a photo, for a chance to win:

The Andes Recipe Contest - Deadline: December 5, 2014

    All recipes must include an Andes product (at least one 10 ounce package of Andes Baking Chips, either variety or at least one 4.67 ounce package of Andes Thins, either variety) from the Recipe Category and must include no more than eleven additional ingredients.
    Only the first 2,500 entries received in each of the two (2) categories will be judged.
    PRIZES for each Category (Andes Baking Chips and Andes Thins):
       One Grand Prize of a $500 Visa gift card
       One First Prize of a $100 Visa Gift Card
       One Second prize of a $50 Visa Gift card.

Bass Pecan Recipe Contest - Deadline: December 31, 2014

    Submit a recipe using pecans as one of the ingredients.
    Recipes will be judged on taste, originality, feasibility and appearance. Overall winning recipe will be selected by our entire management staff.
    One winner will be chosen as the Grand Prize Winner. This contestant will receive the grand prize of $100 gift certificate to be used at Bass Pecan Company. The winner may be featured on our website. A recipe does not have to be one of our weekly featured recipes in order to be considered for the Grand Prize.

Southern Peanut Growers Recipe Contest - Deadline: December 31, 2014

    A recipe contest for foodservice members, educators or students 18 years or older, this contest is meant to inspire creativity in the professional kitchen.
    Each recipe must use at least 1/3 cup peanuts and/or peanut butter as an ingredient.
    A recipe can be entered in any of the 4 categories:
       Main Dish;
       Salad/Side Dish;
    One Grand Prize Winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500
    Four First-Prize Winners in each Category will receive $1,000

Mad About Mushrooms Recipe Contest - Deadline: January 15, 2015

    How fortunate we are to be living in this land of plenty where a fungal feast awaits us when we walk into the woods! You are invited to celebrate our good fortune by creating a recipe which features mushrooms.  The type of dish is yours to choose:  appetizer, soup, salad/vegetable, main dish, miscellaneous (perhaps even a dessert!).   Local mushroomers will prepare and evaluate the recipes, choosing the winners. Contest is open to both amateur and professional cooks.
    Prize winning recipe(s) will be determined based on overall flavor and visual appeal.
    The grand prize winner will receive a locally made Port Orford Cedar plank and a signed copy of mushroom maestro Jack Czarnecki's lovely book, Portobello, sure to delight any contest winner.
