July 1-3, 2015  Hungarian Wine Roadshow 2. 2015 - New York, New York
Come to our wine tasting event where you can learn about the famous and healthy Hungarian wines!  We will serve wine specialties that you can't taste anywhere else only at one of the locations of Hungarian Wine Roadshow 2015.  No matter if you like white wine, red wine or rosé wine, dry or sweet wines.  During the wine tastings, our wine expert will tell you about the thousand-year-old wine culture and the characteristics of the Hungarian wines.


July 3-5, 2015  I Love BBQ Festival - Lake Placid, New York
This annual event attracts the best BBQ competitors in the country and continues to grow in popularity year after year. Sampling opportunitites, food and beverage concessions and live entertainment.

July 4, 2015  99th Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog-Eating Contest
Coney Island, New York
The men and women will compete separately for the title of Men's Hot Dog Eating World Champion and Women's Hot Dog Eating World Champion, as well as a $20,000 cash purse for each division. More than 40,000 fans come to the free event, arriving several hours in advance. For these fans, Nathan's Famous produces a pre-show beginning at 10 a.m. that will include a death-defying performance by the Coney Island Strongman and several live bands. Nathan's Famous will also provide a jumbotron to increase visual access for fans.

July 10-12, 2015  Finger Lakes Wine Festival - Watkins Glen, New York
The Finger Lakes Wine Festival offers the largest showcase of wines produced in New York State with over 90 wineries paired with regional artisans, live music, culinary classes and cooking demonstrations.

July 11, 2015  Little Falls Cheese Festival - Little Falls, New York
'Smile and say cheese!' and you will be happily in the spirit of the new 2015 Main Street First Cheese Festival from 11 am to 6 pm. Festival goers will have an unusual opportunity to sample and buy artisanal cheeses from numerous local and regional producers—including several nationally award-winning cheesemakers. Admission and parking are FREE.  Entertainment will include live music and a short play presented by Little Falls Theater Company titled “Where’s the Cheese?” Handouts about Little Falls’ cheese history will be available and will include a self-guided walking tour.

July 11, 2015  Cheddar Cheese Festival - Adams, New York
A village wide celebration of the agriculture and cheese making industry in Jefferson County.

July 11-12, 2015  Taste of Buffalo - Buffalo, New York
Nearly 60 restaurants, 6 wineries and over 450,000 invited guests will gather in downtown Buffalo to enjoy "fun by the forkful". One of the region's signature events, the Taste of Buffalo is the largest two-day food festival in the United States.

July 12, 2015  Champagne & Chocolate Tasting - New York, New York
Sample the crème-de-la-crème of French champagne in this one-of-a-kind tasting in Le Skyroom. Come inside and escape the heat with several of France’s most prestigious champagnes, desserts and mini pastries from Le Cirque, and a selection of fine chocolates by Chocolat Moderne, Neuhaus and Valrhona.  Tickets:  $55 for FIAF Members - $65 for Non-Members.


July 13-19, 2015  French Restaurant Week - New York, New York
Thousands of New Yorkers and Francophiles celebrating French cuisine and culture. Numerous restaurants across New York will offer a special prix-fixe menu options during dinner, and in some cases, lunch.

July 14, 2015  Celebrate Flatiron Chefs - New York, New York
Madison Square Park hosts its annual summertime party, Celebrate Flatiron Chefs!  This one-of-a-kind, outdoor tasting celebration features gastronomic treats from top restaurants and respected chefs from the vibrant Flatiron district and beyond, providing a rare opportunity for our guests to interact with some of the hottest names in the culinary world. Guests will enjoy signature dishes as well as a variety of drink offerings in a beautiful setting amid one of the city’s most historic parks.  Tickets are $350 for early admission at 5:30pm, and $200 for general entry at 6:30pm. Ticket packages are also available.  Funds raised support Madison Square Park’s horticulture, maintenance, and free cultural programs including Mad. Sq. Art, Mad. Sq. Music, and Mad. Sq. Kids.

Buffalo, New York

July 16-19, 2015  Peppermint Days - Lyons, New York
The festival celebrates Lyons' early history as a leader in the peppermint oil industry. Events include Baking Contest, Tractor Show, a parade, entertainment and much more!

July 25-26, 2015  Bounty of the Hudson Wine & Food Festival
Warwick, New York
The 20th Annual Bounty of the Hudson, this year held at Benmarl Winery located in Marlboro, New York.  Located at a different winery on The Shawangunk Wine Trail each year, this event brings the bounty of the Hudson Valley region to one convenient location, with live entertainment, farm fresh produce, local artisan cheeses, specialty products and a collection of award-winning wines produced in the Hudson Valley.

July 10-13, 2014  Big Rib BBQ & Blues Fest - Rochester, New York
The only Rib Festival of its kind in New York State, this Rochester Rib Fest brings six specialty Rib Masters each with a unique preparation style.  Plenty of covered seating and picnic space is provided for your comfort. Children 12 and under are free. All musical entertainment is free with your paid admission.  Held annually at the festival site inside Monroe County's famous Highland Park.

July 12, 2014  5th Annual Seafood Throwdown - New York, New York
Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket.  Seafood Throwdown, a unique cooking competition that highlights the importance of local seafood in restoring a healthy ocean ecosystem, is coming back to our market for the 5th season! In this Iron-Chef inspired program, two neighborhood restaurants will face off against each other in a heart-pounding race to transform a secret seafood ingredient with other foods from the farmers market vendors into culinary delights.

July 12-13, 19-20 & 26-27, 2014  Evolution of Our Sense of Smell
New York, New York
American Museum of Natural History.  Go inside The Sackler Educational Laboratory for Comparative Genomics and Human Origins to learn about the biology and evolution of humans' sense of smell through demonstrations and hands-on activities, including sending and receiving scents using a new digital device called the oPhone. Visitors will be able to try out this new technology and meet its inventors, David Edwards and Rachel Field, as well as learn about how smell is processed and perceived in humans and our primate and hominid relatives.

July 14, 2014  Kegs & Kluckers - Brooklyn, New York
Just Food is egg-cited to announce the return of this fun-filled event dedicated to urban chicken keepers, home-brewers, and the people who love them. Hosted in partnership with Brewnity and Good Beer Month, Kegs & Kluckers will include home-brewed beers, delicious local fare, Egg Olympic Games, raffles, and a Deviled Egg Competition (enter the contest here).  Tickets are $25 (includes one raffle ticket and unlimited Brooklyn Brewery drafts) and proceeds will raise money for Just Food's City Chicken Project, which provides the training, coops, and hens that school and community gardening groups need to raise healthy chickens and delicious eggs.   Venue: Brooklyn Brewery.

July 19, 2014  3rd Annual Vanderbilt Clam Bake - Centerport, New York
The Vanderbilt Museum’s Third Annual Clam Bake is set for Saturday, July 19, from 6:00 to 10:00 in the Celebration Tent on the Great Lawn overlooking Northport Bay and Long Island Sound. The Clam Bake is an important fund-raising event and proceeds benefit the museum’s education programs.  The menu offers a wide menu of seafood-lovers’ favorites – from whole steamed lobsters to mussels and clam chowder – to barbecued chicken, burgers, hot dogs and corn-on-the-cob, plus wine, beer and soda. DJ Jimmy V will provide music for listening and dancing.  Tickets are$100 per person or $750 for a table of 10.

July 19, 2014  Summerfest - Ashville, New York
Southern Tier Brewing Company.  Summer is a time to be outside and celebrating the season. Our Summerfest is an afternoon of soaking up the sun, cold beer, tasty food, live music and of course keg bowling.  Admission is free. Food and beer of course are not. It’s a fun and friendly atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Doors open at noon, the party ends around 4pm.

July 19, 2014  Hamburg Burgerfest - Hamburg, New York
The festival celebrates Hamburg's claim as "birthplace of the hamburger"  with arts & crafts, car show, film festival, burger-eating contests, games, music, and of course, tasty food and hamburgers. The Taste of Hamburg portion of the festival features offerings from local restaurants.

July 19-20, 2014  Troy Pig Out - Troy, New York
Now in its seventh year, the annual Troy Pig Out welcomes professional BBQ teams from across the United States and Canada for this two-day weekend competition – which includes a People's Choice St. Louis Rib competition – on Saturday, and the "main event" on Sunday.  Barbeque vendors and live music are the main attractions for guests to the festival, filling Riverfront Park both days, and featuring a special fireworks show on Saturday night over the Hudson River.  'Bacon Alley' - a special section of the festival filled with vendors offering bacon-y treats sure to satisfy your inner most bacon cravings will be back again this year.  The Troy Pig Out is sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Association and the Office of the Governor as the Official New York State BBQ Championship which qualifies the winner to move on to the National Championships!

July 20, 2014  A Taste of Montauk - Montauk, Long Island, New York
Taste of Montauk at 360° East.  A Celebration of Montauk Restaurants.  Culinary Bites from Montauk Restaurants | Long Island Wines | Local Beer.  Live Music.  Tickets $65 per person $75 at door.

July 20, 2014  4th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival
New York, New York
The 4th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival – New York will attract over 20,000 patrons, a mix of professional chefs and home cooks, eager taste-testers, reggae and soca music lovers, dance aficionados, and cultural enthusiasts in the most anticipated event of the year.  Held annually in Roy Wilkins Park, Queens, New York, the third Sunday in July, the Festival appeals to all ethnicities and key demographics, particularly the vibrant Caribbean communities in the Metro New York market.

July 25-26, 2014  Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival - Syracuse, New York
An International, FREE Festival Combining Fine Music with Fine Wines, The Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival is an exciting, fun-filled event on Syracuse’s hopping summer festival scene, an anchor of the regionally acclaimed Syracuse ArtsWeek, and the only festival of its kind east of the Rockies. Returning to Downtown Syracuse, the Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival once again offers diverse music, food, drink, and entertainment for the whole family! About the Music! Two days of first-class jazz, smooth jazz, and RnB programming. Appearances by international jazz stars. Attendance: 15,000.

July 25, 2014  Passion - Niagara-on-the-Lake, New York
A celebration of Wine, Food, Micro Beer and Music.  Auction, Vendors, Artists, Dancing Under the Stars. At beautiful Mori Gardens. All proceeds will go to fund Wells of Hope's projects.

July 26, 2014  Bacon and Beer Classic - New York, New York
Citi Field Ballpark, Home of the New York Mets.  The Bacon and Beer Classic Is a one-of-a-kind event hosted inside major league baseball stadiums across America. It is a premier experience focused on traditions where one’s nostalgia of baseball meets their love for bacon and beer. As the up to 10,000 attendees walk through the stadium they will get a taste of history through the hundreds of craft brew samples and mouth-watering bacon-inspired tastes local restaurants cook up. Live music will get people dancing, interactive games will bring out their inner kid, and the cooking demos and beer schools will teach everyone – from the expert to the novice – a thing or two about bacon and beer.  Our events are always ALL INCLUSIVE.  From the moment you walk into the park, it's all about the experience, and not about opening up your wallet.

July 26, 2014  New Nordic Meets Copenhagen Street Food
New York, New York
The Copenhagen is turning inside out for one day and letting Revolving Dansk take over.  Instead of serving their unique, new Nordic menu, R/DK will be serving the food of the streets of Denmark - the authentic rød pølse hot dog.  Why are they doing this?  Because Danes love their hot dogs, and let's face it, they are simply better than American hot dogs.  They are found on every street corner in Copenhagen, and anyone who has visited Denmark will tell you that they are simply delectable.  Revolving Dansk (R/DK) will be serving the classic Danish pølse (Denmark's old world hot dog), with the original Danish fixin's such as the fried onions, remoulade and Danish sweet pickles. Admission is free.  Food items vary.  Rock out with Scandinavian music and drink specials. 

July 26-27, 2014  Niagara Wine Trail Wine & Culinary Festival
Lewiston, New York
Our annual outdoor wine and culinary festival will be located in Academy Park this year, right in the heart of the Village of Lewiston. Receive a keepsake wine glass with your ticket and samples of wine at each of the participating wineries. Lots of local restaurants and food vendors, wine seminars and more!

July 27, 2014  New York Tomato Blast - Corona, New York
Tomato Blast is a massive tomato fight modeled after Spain's annual La Tomatina Fest.  La Tomatina is an annual festival held in Valencian the town of Buñol, a town located 30 km from the Mediterranean, in which participants throw tomatoes and get involved in this tomato fights purely for fun! 

July 28, 2014  15th Annual Austerlitz Blueberry Festival - Austerlitz, NY
Sponsored by the Austerlitz Historical Society, the festival  will include early 19th century craft demonstrations, live music and of course-lots of blueberries.

July 31-August 3, 2014  Phelps Sauerkraut Festival - Phelps, New York
Celebrates the Phelps area's history as one of the largest producers of sauerkraut in the world. Events include live music, 20k race, Kraut Idol, fireworks, arts & crafts, a parade and a kraut-eating contest.

July 31-August 3, 2014  51st Annual Eden Corn Festival - Eden, New York
Buttery, juicy, sweet corn on the cob, served fresh and piping hot, will be the highlight of what you will experience at the Eden Corn Festival in Eden, New York, a festival like no other!
