Wine Lovers of NYC will initiate a monthly program of Sunday afternoon tastings at Pierre Loti Chelsea, one of the best wine bars in New York. Each tasting will focus on different regions and/or varietal types. Some tastings will be walk-around, others will be seated and guided by a well-known wine expert. Most of the wines presented will be readily available for purchase at a local wine shop. The first tasting will be a walk-around tasting of 10 Old World wines from France, Italy and Spain, with a dessert Tokaij wine from Hungary. I'll post the exact wine list in a few days. And there will also be selected cheeses and charcuterie paired with the wines. This will be a great way to spend an autumn afternoon with fellow wine lovers in a lovely atmosphere.
