Gather with fellow apple enthusiasts, hard cider aficionados, fermentation zealots, and craft beverage fanatics at Brooklyn's premier hard cider festival.  At Pour The Core: Brooklyn, you and your friends will gather in Brooklyn's trendy and crafty Greenpoint neighborhood and be showcased to the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders – more than 75 styles produced by over 40 different cider makers! The event will feature local favorites like Big Apple Hard Cider and Original Sin; best-selling US brands like Woodchuck Hard Cider and Angry Orchard; and a variety of imported ciders and perries from Spain, England and elsewhere, like Strongbow.  Kick off summer with cider and local grub from the city's favorite food trucks! The event will take place rain or shine.  There will be free seminars for ticketholders about cider, the making of cider, and the enjoyment of cider. June 11, 2017  1st Annual Coffee & Tea Festival NYC: Iced
Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York
The first of its kind in the New York City area, this “all things coffee and tea” festival will be served on ice! Think iced tea, iced coffee, cold brewing, ready-to-drink, tea/coffee infused frozen products, and more!  Join exhibitors as they pour tastings of their finest iced beverages and introduce you to new and award-winning products! This fun-filled unofficial summer kick-off event will celebrate all things coffee and tea and offer “chilly” seminars, tastings, and more! The expo center will also feature some of the most delectable sweet and savory foods from some of NYC’s finest food vendors to compliment the spectacular collection of iced drinks. Bring your family, bring your friends – make it an inexpensive and thirst-quenching day out!  Get your ticket(s) today to saunter the festival tasting all the iced coffee and iced tea to your heart’s delight in celebration of National Iced Tea Day on June 10! Mattituck, New York
The festival has music, carnival, raffle, coloring contest display, fresh local strawberries, arts and crafts, international food court, vendors, games, and much more.  By late June on the North Fork the strawberry crop is reaching its peak and bursting with flavor. On Father's Day weekend, at the peak of the strawberry harvest, the Mattituck Lions Club brings the community together for a special weekend of fun and purpose. June 16-17, 2017  37th Annual Owego Strawberry Festival
Owego, New York
Food, entertainment, contests, wine tent, and 20,000 people enjoying the day. Friday night includes entertainment, food and fireworks.  Held on the closed streets of downtown Owego, NY.  Lots of excitement is planned for this year's Festival! The usual attractions like "Straw Dawgs Strut Their Stuff" Contest, Children's Bounce House, a zillion runners at the 5K Race and Kids' 1 Mile Run , a Miss/Mrs. Strawberry Pageant, Wine/Beer/Spirit Tasting, Rubber Ducky Derby, lots of great entertainment and a few surprises.  And, of course, YOU!   There will be plenty of great food and a fantastic array of arts and crafts.  Over 200 vendors and artisans will line the streets downtown.   Attendance: 20,000.

June 3-20, 2015  The Economy of Food - Bronx, New York
The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC).  At BRAC's temporary gallery space at 305 East 140th St. Bronx, N.Y.  This is the third of an extensive two-year production of ten exhibitions that will run through 2016, collectively called Food Systems, Surroundings & Sensibilities.  The Economy of Food analyzes the economics of the food system, the complex operation sustaining our lives, from farm or factory to our kitchen table. The exhibition addresses the economies of food production, trade and food distribution, food consumption, and recycling the system's aftermath. Artists participating in the exhibition are responding to this universal issue with installations, photography, performance and video works, raising questions on issues such as corporate vs. sustainable farming, undocumented immigrants and child labor in food production, local food distribution in the Bronx, the new geopolitics of food, multinational food culture, commercial and creative recycling of food waste and packaging, and attempts to balance low budgets while providing nutrition and feeding our families in "the hungriest borough in NYC".

The Dutch Herring are back! Herring lovers will enjoy the season for less than a month. SSWNYC is a culinary-fueled celebration showcasing the efforts of local fishermen, chefs, organizations and communities to promote responsible sourcing of seafood.  We have worked with many amazing partners to produce a week's worth of unique event collaborations to bring everyone one step closer to the sea -- spanning parties, tastings, dinners, workshops. Along with ticketed events open to the public, we'll be expanding on last year's industry panel to include even more programming geared towards anyone that's a stakeholder in the sustainable seafood discussion, including restaurant professionals, seafood purveyors, and scientists.

June 5, 2014  Slow Food NYC's 3rd Annual Fundraiser - New York, NY
Simply the best party of the year! The Slow Food NYC Annual Fundraiser, the (s)low down, will feature some of the best food and drink artisans in New York City along with one-of-a-kind auction and raffle prizes and live bluegrass music. This year we'll be honoring Chef Peter Hoffman with our third annual Snailblazer Award. We hope to see you there.

June 14-15, 2014  Around the World - Hudson Valley, New York

June 21-23, 2013  Brockport BBQ & Music Festival - Brockport, New York
Unfortunately we are not hosting an event in 2014. Thanks to all that supported the event in the past and allowed us to contribute so generously to the Wilmot Cancer Center and other local charities.

June 28-30, 2013  Western NY BBQ & Music Festival - Hamburg, NY
Presented by the Patchin Fire Company of Boston, New York, a not for profit organization comprised of men and women working together  making our community a better place to live.  The  Festival is a barbeque  competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the largest BBQ sanctioning body in the world as well as the New England BBQ Society.  This high profile three day event features BBQ food vendors, music, rides, classic car show.  Competition  includes...Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned BBQ Contest & New England Barbecue Society (NEBS) sanctioned Grilling Contest.

This is a celebration of Long Island grown strawberries, benefiting Long Island Children's Hospital. Activities include local musicians, children's entertainment and games, strawberry shortcake eating contest, as well as craft and food vendors.

June 26-27, 2012  The Bar & Restaurant Show - New York, New York
A trade event located in the heart of New York City. The largest gathering of sampling and tasting of premium wines, spirits, and beverages, with celebrity chefs, exclusively for the food and beverage professional.

June 28, 2012  Eating Planet Book Launch & Panel Discussion - NY, NY
On June 28, the Worldwatch Institute's Nourishing the Planet project and the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition will launch the new book Eating Planet: Challenge for Mankind and the Planet. The book examines the paradoxes of the global food system, the cultural value of food, production and consumption trends, and the effects of individual eating habits on health and on the environment.  The event will include the panel discussion "How do we feed (and also nourish) a planet of 7 billion?"
