St. Anthony's Church, 155 Sullivan St. NYC.  Buy $1 tickets with exact change as you enter the event (cash only - bring exact change).   Exchange RED tickets for slices of pizza (limit 10), BLUE tickets for drinks, desserts, and raffle (no limit).  Limit 1 slice per person per pizzeria.  100% of funds raised at event will be split 50/50 between these lovely organizations: The Sylvia Center and City Harvest.

Featuring the artist formerly known as cucumber, there will be a full city block full of world-renowned picklers, a home pickling contest (with celebrity judges), live music, two additional city blocks full of the best in LES food and fashion vendors, games and a Halloween Costume Contest for kids and adults. The Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival pays homage to one of the greatest dining cities in the world. It is the only festival in New York to bring together both legendary culinary icons from around the globe and America's most beloved television chefs.  The New York City Festival benefits the hunger-relief programs of Food Bank For New York City and No Kid Hungry. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the Festival go directly to these community-based organizations.

October 13, 2019  12th Annual Troy Chowderfest - Troy, New York
It's Soup for the People!  The Troy Chowderfest welcomes chowder-lovers throughout Capital Region to come out and judge who has the best chowder in the area. On the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend, over 30 restaurants fill Riverfront Park, with decorated booths and all sorts of creative chowders. It's a full day of fall food, live music, and family fun!  Prizes are awarded for best seafood, vegetarian, most original and overall favorite – judged by a secret panel of local restaurant critics. Festival-goers are able to vote on the coveted 'People's Choice' award.  Attendance: 15,000.
