The Chocolate Expo

Celebrate your passion… and celebrate life! Chocolate is one of life’s true pleasures. No matter what your age, background or interests, almost everyone loves chocolate.  The Chocolate Expo has by far become the northeast’s largest chocolate-themed event. The Chocolate Expo offers tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, gelato, cheeses and much more from local and regional vendors. Depending on location, tastings and sales of wines, beers and other “adult beverages” may also be offered.  Each Chocolate Expo event combines chocolate and food with a dash of fun such as unique exhibits, performances, demonstrations and/or celebrity appearances.

March 2-3, 2020  Vinexpo New York - New York, New York
Vinexpo New York will be the event to see, taste, experience and source wines and spirits from the world’s newest producers. A dynamic two days of business and networking features an extensive program of events, conferences and master classes.

March 2-6, 2020 - National School Breakfast Week - Nationwide
School Nutrition Association.  'Make the Grade with School Breakfast.'

March 7, 2020  Glens Falls Brewfest - Glens Falls, New York
Queensbury Hotel, 4pm to 7pm.  Tastings from over 20 brewers including local, regional and national favorites. Have some fun and support Adirondack Theatre Festival and the Feeder Canal Alliance.

March 8, 2020  Cochon555 - New York, New York
5 - 7:30 pm.  Cochon555, the nation’s acclaimed culinary, wine and spirit celebration in support of charity and education, is celebrating 10 years during their 2019 nationwide tour. The events will feature more than 100 prominent chefs, farmers, sommeliers, distillers, brewers, and barkeeps all working to create luxurious moments that educate the palate. The tour stated in Dallas and culiminates with the national finale, Grand Cochon, in Chicago. At each stop on the tour, five notable chefs are tasked with preparing a 200-pound pig and presenting a "Judge's Plate" that will be scored by celebrity judges and participants. The winner of each local competition will advance to the finale in September.

March 2-3, 2019 - Food Book Fair - Brooklyn, New York
Food Book Fair — celebrated as 'the Coachella of writing about eating' and 'food geek heaven.'  For our 2019 New York edition, we're leaning all the way into our signature, fan favorite event — the magazine festival within the fair, previously known as Foodieodicals — with a weekend-long pop up in partnership with Smorgasburg + the Brooklyn Flea. It all goes down at Atlantic Center (625 Atlantic Ave., between Gap and Party City, across from Barclays Center).

March 14-17, 2018 - 7th Annual Japan Week - New York, New York
Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal.  Japan Week is a free event that is open to the public and will showcase the very latest in Japanese culture, food, and modern art. This year's special feature includes seven works of 3D Trick Art. A popular phenomenon in Japan, Trick art is a large-scale interactive work of art that seemingly adds a third dimension, creating the illusion that the depicted objects really exist.  Visitors to Japan Week can receive free Japanese tourism materials and expert travel tips while experiencing the arts, merchandise, culture and technology of Japan.

The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) is pleased to announce The Sculpture of Food, the second in a two-year series of ten exhibitions that will run through 2016, entitled Food Systems, Surroundings & Sensibilities. The exhibition will open with a reception on Friday March 20th from 6 to 9pm at BRAC’s temporary gallery space in Mott Haven, the Bronx.
