September 7, 2013  Monroe Cheese Festival - Monroe, New York
The festival celebrates Monroe's history of cheesemaking, dating back to 1873. Velveeta process cheese food was first made here in 1918. Monroe is also the birthplace of Liederkranz cheese. The event includes entertainment, Monroe Idol, rides, demonstrations, Children's Corner and more.

September 7-8, 2013  28th Annual Central New York's Tomatofest
Auburn, New York
The festival was created to bring the community together and provide a public venue for not-for-profit organizations, and has grown to a two-day event, with over 13,000 in attendance over the weekend. People from all over Central New York come to enjoy the great food, music, crafts, and entertainment for the whole family.  Donations from TomatoFest each year enable local food pantries to provide more than 10,000 meals to Cayuga County residents. Approximately 50% of those meals provide food for families with children.

September 7-8, 2013  Septemberfest - Forestville, New York

September 7-8, 2013  Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest - Rhinebeck, New York
Celebrating our 12th year in 2013, the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest is a celebration of the gourmet lifestyle in the Hudson Valley. The Fest features hundreds of wines from all over New York and the world, more than 100 gourmet specialty food, fine art, & lifestyle vendors, food sampling from some of the region’s best restaurants and live entertainment.  Visitors can learn about wine and food from our many Cooking demonstrations and Food & Wine seminars throughout the weekend and enjoy the rare opportunity to meet and speak to the wine makers from some of New York’s best wineries.  Always the weekend following Labor Day, the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest takes place at the beautiful Dutchess County Fairgrounds in historic Rhinebeck, New York.  Parking is free and we’re a short trip from the Rhinecliff train station.

September 12, 2013  Sip for The Sea - New York, New York
Sip For The Sea is a food & wine benefit for the New York Aquarium to help repair damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.  Pull a cork for a Penguin, simple as that. The Hess Collection, which works with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Seafood Watch program to promote sustainable seafood (paired with sustainable wine) has joined with the Wildlife Conservation Society and several other sponsors to offer wines from our entire portfolio, paired with offerings from some of New York’s finest restaurants, including The Lambs Club, Blue Water Grill, Parlor Steakhouse and many more.


September 15, 2013  Purple Foot Festival - Fairport, New York

Harvest Home along with the Marcus Samuelsson Group will be hosting Savor the Season Uptown, a dine-around tasting event to benefit Harvest Home's invaluable work bringing farm-fresh food, which includes a network of  farmers markets and other healthy food and lifestyle programs to underserved communities. Founded in 1993 Harvest Home Farmer's Market is a NYC non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to local, farm-fresh produce to low-income neighborhoods. The markets create a community gathering place that educates the public about health and nutrition supports regional agriculture and provides job opportunities six days a week during the summer season.

September 8, 2012  Meatopia - New York, New York
The biggest, most ambitious line-up of chefs and meat dish offerings in the history of the event, now in its ninth official year. This will be the most ambitious iteration yet of the so-called “Woodstock of Edible Animals,” with a chef roster drawn from everywhere from Hong Kong to the United States Special Forces.  Whole Foods Market’s national Best Butcher contest will again see its finals on the Meatopia stage.
