January 13-14, 2024
Annual Virginia Fly Fishing and Wine Festival
Doswell, Virginia
This annual festival draws anglers from across the U.S. and especially the Mid-Atlantic. The event features nonstop free lectures and tips on where, when, and how to fly fish in the Old Dominion and across the globe.  Virginia wine tastings, microbreweries, local food and live music will also be featured.

January 18-20, 2024  Virginia Farm Show - Fisherville, Virginia
The Virginia Farm Show is the only agricultural trade show in Virginia that caters to full-time as well as the part-time farmer. In addition to exhibits of all the major lines of equipment and services there is a Skid Steer Rodeo for all the attendees to watch as well as participate in. The Diamond Level Sponsor of this event is the Virginia Farm Bureau for the third straight year. This event enables participants to compete for trophies and cash prizes for all major lines of skid steers.

February 2-4, 2024  Chocolate Lovers Festival - Fairfax, Virginia
Taste of Chocolate, featuring chocolate vendors selling their wares; the Chocolate Challenge, an arts extravaganza where the medium is chocolate; the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast featuring chocolate chip pancakes; historic re-enactments; children's activities; a craft show; open houses at historic buildings; and much more.

February 14, 2024 - VALENTINE'S DAY

February 17-24, 2024  National FFA Week - Nationwide
The week of George Washington's birthday as National FFA Week in recognition of his legacy as an agriculturist and farmer.
 


 

February 23-March 3, 2024  Annual Virginia Wine Expo
Richmond, Virginia

February 25, 2024  Popsicle Bridge Contest - Richmond, Virginia
Dewey Gottwald Center of the Science Museum of Virginia!  This contest (PSBC for short) gives students the opportunity to design and build their very own bridges and put them to the test to see how much weight they can hold!  Many different prizes are available, and it’s a great way to get them excited about science and engineering.
