East Coast She Crab Soup Classic
Virginia Beach, Virginia
An open competition among over 15 participating restaurants, the She Crab Soup Classic focuses on one of the region’s most-loved seafood delicacies.  The highly identifiable cuisine has been a staple of area menus for decades.  Restaurants serve their individual recipes and compete for People’s Choice Awards, determined by ballots of those attending.  Critic’s Choice Awards also are given by a panel of six leading regional cuisine experts.  A limited number of tickets are available for The East Coast She Crab Soup Classic.

More than 40 vendors from the mid-Atlantic fill Maymont's Carriage House lawn with every imaginable herb as well as annuals, perennials, trees, vegetables, and herbal products and crafts for this one-of-a-kind event.

April 6, 2019 - Cherry Blossom Festival - Virginia Beach, Virginia
The Sister Cities of Virginia Beach and Miyazaki, Japan invite you to enjoy our 9th year of traditional Japanese music, dancing, martial arts demonstrations, along with exhibitors. Celebrate peace and goodwill during cherry blossom season while you experience Japanese culture through activities and food.

April 7, 2019 - Breaux Vineyards Nebbiolo Vertical Tasting
Purcellville, Virginia
Join us for one of our most exclusive events, our Nebbiolo Vertical Tasting.  During the lunch sample and discuss various vintages of this coveted varietal with our winemaker.  Enjoy a 3-course meal prepared by Chef Author Clark, paired with the wines.  Educational, interactive, and fun, this is a reservation only event, and will sell out soon, very limited seating.  Reservations Required- $85.00 per person/$75.00 Cellar Club Member.


April 13, 2019 - Cherry Blossom Celebration - Purcellville, Virginia
Come join us this Spring at our annual Cherry Blossom Celebration!  Hopefully the blossoms will be in full bloom, which is one of the most picturesque times of the year here at the vineyard!  We will also have live music, craft vendors, delicious food, and of course wine.  We will be open all day for tastings, and there is no admission or reservation required.

April 20, 2019 - Bbq And Shad Homecoming - Wakefield, Virginia
A community event for all ages supporting the fundraising efforts of the Wakefield Ruritan Club. Among others beneficiaries, the Wakefield Ruritan Club has directly contributed to the local Fire Department, Rescue Squad, 4-H Club, and youth Baseball. The Wakefield Ruritan Club also awards scholarships directly to deserving young people.

April 25, 2020  Gnarly Hops and Barley Fest - Culpeper, Virginia
The Gnarly Hops brewfest returns with live music and over 70 different beer selections. Sample Virginia and nationally brewed beers, including area favorites like Devil's Backbone, Starr Hill, Blue Mountain, and Wild Wolf Brewing Company. Bold Rock Hard Cider will again be available in two refreshing flavors: Hard Apple and Draft Cider. A few well-known out-of-towners will also be on draft, like Goose Island, Sweet Water, Omegang, and Lagunitas Brewing Company. CRI guarantees there will be a craft beer to suit any taste– beer enthusiasts might even find a new favorite!
