March 26, 2011  Ramp It Up! Festival - Cherokee, North Carolina
Held at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds, the festival offers a feast of succulent trout and pungent wild onion/garlic-like ramps. Honor the Cherokee elders on their special day. Held during Cherokee’s trout season opening, this gathering includes music, senior games (including horseshoe pitching), and craft exhibitions.
