Annual Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion
Denton, North Carolina
The greatest steam, gas, and antique farm equipment show in the Southeastern U.S. with entertainment, pageant, and lots of good ol' country cooking.

U.S. Independence Day

There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 14, 2024  Heritage Fire - Asheville, North Carolina
Heritage Fire is a three-hour live-fire event focused on education and delivering moments of culinary awakening. Taking place in 14 cities, the walk-around reception features an all-inclusive bacchanal feast paired with thoughtful bites prepared by some of the most critically acclaimed kitchens in each market, with products from locally sourced farms and sponsors. The festivities includes fun and interactive activations, as well as the crowning of your city’s Heritage Hero.

July 13-15, 2023 - Annual N.C. Peach Festival - Candor, North Carolina
Featuring peach cooking contest, peach ice cream, musical entertainment, games & rides for the kids, 5K run, helicopter rides and sky diving exhibition. 10am to 4pm.

July 14-15, 2023  Annual North Carolina Blackberry Festival
Lenoir, North Carolina
In Caldwell County, blackberries are a part of every day life – children beg to go pick from the wild berries lining every bank and mothers take what isn’t eaten during the day for cobblers. Summer fun for all visitors--music, pageant, blackberry eating & recipe contests and children's activities.   BAKERS WANTED!  You and/or your organization are invited to be a part of our community effort to create the World's Largest Patchwork of Blackberry Cobbler by baking and delivering one or more cobblers to the event. All supplies (berries, flour, sugar, margarine, pan & simple recipe) are provided except one cup of milk and your baking expertise.  (also: www.caldwellcochamber.org )  Attendance: 25,000.
 


 

July 15, 2023  Ridgeway Cantalope Festival - Ridgeway, North Carolina
Celebrating the community's fruit farming heritage every third Saturday in July with music, food and more.  Cantaloupe, Brunswick Stew, Hot Dogs, Festival Refreshments and Foods.  Historical Displays, Kiddie Rides, Horse back rides, and Arts and Crafts vendors. Local Entertainment!

July 22, 2023  19th Annual Summertime Brews Festival
Greensboro, North Carolina
We are proud to bring you the Annual Summertime Brews Festival at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.  Serious beer connoisseur's can enjoy the first samples of the frosty brews during the VIP Brewmaster Tasting beginning at 2:30pm. All those who, while you appreciate the wonderful craftsmanship of the beers, are less interested measured analytical sips and would rather jump right in to experience as many of the three hundred beers as responsibly possible, may crash the gates starting at 4pm. Live Music.

July 29, 2023  Fair Bluff Watermelon Festival - Fair Bluff, North Carolina
The annual fest includes entertainment, food court, contests, arts and crafts, car show, parade and children's area.

July 24, 2021  17th Annual Summertime Brews Festival
Greensboro, North Carolina

July 13, 2019  Blueberry Jam - Cherokee, North Carolina
Sponsored by the North American Indian Women’s Association (NAIWA), the Blueberry Festival features fresh berries, delicious recipes, blueberry products, and fun activities for the whole family. Admission is free to the public. Vendor space is available.

July 21-22, 2017  Smokin’ in the Valley - WNC BBQ Festival
Maggie Valley, North Carolina
With up to 40 Cookers, this is a Barbecue (BBQ) Cooking Competition & Kansas City BBQ Society Sanctioned event. On Fri. night, there is a local restaurant competition where you can be the judge! Saturday afternoon, visit the “Tastin’ Tent” to sample competitors’ entries. Daily features include arts & crafts, a kid’s corner, entertainment & beverage sales, including beer & wine.
