September 2, 2023 - West Cape May Tomato Festival
West Cape May, New Jersey
The West Cape May Tomato Festival featuring Jersey fresh grown tomatoes, food, fine vendors, South Jersey Artists, handmade jewelry, and stained glass. 9am to 4pm.

September 2-4, 2023 - BBQ & Craft Beer Festival
Monmouth Park, Oceanport, New Jersey
Featuring the tastings from the best craft breweries plus an outrageous array of smokin' hot barbecue to go with it, along with exciting live entertainment, crafters and plenty of fun activities for the kids.

September 7-10, 2023  46th Annual Greek Festival - Union, New Jersey
Moussaka, pastitsio, leg of lamb, dolmades, spanakopites, tiropites, and more! Great food, live music, and folk dancing – there’s nothing like a Greek festival, and one of the best in NJ is the Annual 4-day Greek Festival at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Union,  NJ. There will be a full lineup of homemade Greek food & homemade desserts, full bar, plus live music, dancers, vendors, rides and games.  Admission is $1 and the ample parking is free.

September 9-10, 2023  Downbeach Seafood Festival
Ski Beach Ventnor, New Jersey
Featuring 25-30 local & regional seafood restaurants. The Downbeach Seafood Festival supports the Community Food Bank of New Jersey through the popular Chowder Cook-Off, where all proceeds benefit the Food Bank! This allows participants to sample chowder from some of the finest restaurants Atlantic County has!  Children’s activities, amusements, live Sand Sculpting / Kids Sand Sculpting area, Live Music, Demos & Seminars, The Great Brews of NJ Tasting Tent, Crab Cake Eating Competition and Chowder Cook-Off benefiting the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Entrance is $10, with children 12 and under FREE.  Parking is at a lot on Wellington Avenue with complimentary shuttle service to & from the festival.

September 16, 2023  45th Annual Festival of the Sea
Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey
The Festival of the Sea is a street fair located in the heart of downtown Point Pleasant Beach where visitors sample dishes by the area's finest restaurants (from clam chowder to lobster to steak); wine garden, arts & crafts, pony rides, antiques, kiddie games and live entertainment.  Attendance: 60,000.

September 16, 2023  The Hermitage Food Truck Festival
Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey
The Hermitage Museum is holding a Food Truck Festival from Noon - 5pm.  There will be a large variety of delicious foods to choose from. Explore different cuisines or just keep it simple. It’s your choice!  Craft beer, live bands and fun activities for the kids will also be part of the day’s offerings. Seating will be provided on our beautiful property, or you can bring a blanket and picnic the day away!  Come join us for great food and drink, terrific music, and a spectacular day at The Hermitage.  This fundraiser will benefit the Hermitage Museum. The Hermitage is a National Historic Landmark.  The historic house incorporates a stone structure that was visited during the Revolutionary War by George Washington and Alexander Hamilton.

September 16-17, 2023  Belmar San Gennaro Festival
Belmar, New Jersey
This year’s festival will feature delicious foods, live entertainment, music and dancing in the traditional Feast way.  The festivities kick off on Saturday with a Mass celebrated in Italian at St. Rose Church in Belmar, followed by the traditional procession of the Statue of San Gennaro to its place of honor on Main Street.  Visitors will can enjoy Italian treats, a Wine & Beer Garden, an eating contest, crafters, kids activities, dancing in the street and more.

September 23-24, 2023  25th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend
Chester, New Jersey
Keeping with tradition, the Oktoberfest will focus on celebrating traditional music, native dress and special Oktoberfest beer only available for a short time. Authentic German foods including bratwurst, German potato salad, sauerkraut and smoked pork chops will be offered along with tasty apple strudel, delicious beehive cake, authentic plum cake, and more.  The weekend long event will offer non-stop entertainment. The (Die) Spitzbaum, a notable German Band will perform familiar German tunes and will be accompanied by spectacular dancers. Activities for kids and a car show will also keep you entertained. All proceeds go to charity.

September 10-11, 2022 - South Jersey Apple Fest
Bridgeton, New Jersey
A two-day, apple themed festival, that will celebrate the beginning of the apple harvest season. is coming to the Shoppes at Dragon Village, (formerly Dutch Neck Village). Families are invited to show up from 10am to 5pm to kick-off the apple harvest season.  Apples, Apples & more: This festival will be packed full of delicious apple desserts offered by our Food Vendors at the show. Non-professional bakers are invited to enter their best apple dessert in our “Everything Apple Dessert Contest” on Saturday at 2pm. After judging, families visiting the festival will have the opportunity to sample the entries for free. The Apple Mascot will make an appearance both days and will be available for photos.  The Craft Show: Over 85 talented artists and crafter's.  Everything about the event has Family Fun at the core! This is a pet friendly event, free admission and parking is $2.00 a carload.  Free apples for kids. All contests are free to enter. Vendors and Sponsors are being sought.

September 17-18, 2022  Que by the Sea - Seaside Heights, New Jersey
Enjoy a weekend filled with delicious BBQ from award-winning BBQ food trucks along with live entertainment hosted by Captain Jack of Downtheshoreradio.com at Que by the Sea!  In addition, check out the many arts & crafts vendors! Grant Avenue, near The Classic American Boardwalk.

September 24, 2022  Annual Paulsdale Uncorked
Mount Laurel, New Jersey
Take a little refuge and join us at Paulsdale Uncorked! Alice Paul Institute's annual wine and food pairing event.  The splendid evening will feature great wines paired with food prepared by highly-trained, certified chefs. Each chef is certified by the United States Personal Chef Association.  Proceeds from this event will support the continued preservation of Paulsdale.

September 25, 2022  Annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival
Red Bank, New Jersey
Join us at the Annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival Presented by the Asbury Park Press & Guinness!   It will be a huge food, music & beer celebration which will showcase Red Bank’s excellent restaurants and entertain thousands with continuous live music on two stages!    And it's family friendly with activities for the kids. The event will be a culinary feast with tons of GUINNESS and fresh OYSTERS plus 25 of Red Bank’s favorite restaurants will be serving a variety of specialty seafood and Irish menu items, there'll be something for everyone!   Wine and lighter beers will also be available for purchase.  The Guinness Oyster Festival is a fundraiser for Riverview Medical Center & the Red Bank RiverCenter.  Admission is $5.00 for anyone over age 10.

Monmouth Park.  As part of our expanded racing season, grab your lederhosen as we’re throwing a true Oktoberfest. FREE admission for all.  Celebrate with authentic food and drinks plus music from Jingleheimer.  Enter to participate in our stein holding competition.

September 19-20, 2020  Valenzano Winefest - Shamong, New Jersey
EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  The Garden State”s largest blues, jazz and wine festival featuring continuous live entertainment, award winning wines from seven of New Jersey's favorite wineries, cheese tasting, top crafters from around the state.

September 8, 2019  Netcong Day - Annual Main Street Fair
Netcong, New Jersey
Although the annual NJ street fair has entertainment, a walk/run, a reverent ceremony for 9/11 and family fun activities, the real core of the Netcong Day street fair is food. There are a number of food vendors participating including two of Netcong's more well-known Italian restaurants. 40% of the people who live in Netcong are of Italian decent.

September 20-22, 2019  Berkeley Heights Vegan Fest
Berkeley Heights, New Jersey
Sustainable Berkeley Heights is pleased to be partnering with the Berkeley Heights Environmental Commission to co-produce Berkeley Heights Vegan Fest 2019.

September 22, 2019  Vegan Cook-Off at Berkeley Heights Vegan Fest
Berkeley Heights, New Jersey
On the third and final day of Berkeley Heights Vegan Fest 2019.  The Vegan Cook-Off, a free event open to all, will feature an Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert category.  We will have a blue ribbon panel of judges for each category.  Prizes will be award to the top three finishers in each category.  To enter, visit the event website and complete the competitor sign-up form, complete with the name of your dish and its ingredients.  Competitors are encouraged to bring additional samples of their dishes so that the general public can taste and experience vegan food.  Local restaurants will also be distributing samples of their vegan food to attendees.  Vegans and non-vegans are encouraged to attend. The Cook-Off will be held in Lower Columbia Park in Berkeley Heights.

Annual fundraiser for Grounds for Sculpture. Deliciously woven throughout the beautifully landscaped sculpture park, this crowd pleasing event is renowned for featuring more than 30 of the finest area chefs and the extraordinary culinary offerings they prepare as well as a robust selection of great wines, craft beers, and exclusive spirits from regional purveyors. New this year is a decadent twist as GFS introduces artisan chocolate by our region’s finest chocolatiers.

September 22, 2019  2nd annual Food Truck Festival
Waldwick, New Jersey
The Waldwick Community Alliance (WCA).  11:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.  The Festival will be held on Hewson Avenue between West Prospect Street and Walter Nightengale Place.  Live Entertainment.  Beer and wine will be available for sale at the WCA Hall.  A rain date of September 29, 2019 has been established in the event of inclement weather.  The fee for admission is $5.00 for adults and children over 12.  Children under 12 are admitted free.  Parking is available in the railroad parking lot on Hewson Avenue.  As always with any WCA function, the historic Restored Waldwick Railroad Station will be opened for the duration of the event displaying the Trains, Planes and Automobiles exhibit.

The 7th annual Eat Drink Local Week, which celebrates the bounty of New Jersey farmers and the culinary skills of dozens of our state’s most talented chefs, will take place at 47 restaurants statewide.  Presented by Edible Jersey - the James Beard award-winning magazine dedicated to promoting the local, seasonal foods of the Garden State - Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week showcases the broad range of foods produced in the Garden State and the creativity of the state’s chefs in preparing dishes using these locally-sourced products. Participating restaurants will be offering specially crafted prix-fixe menus, seasonally driven dishes, supplemental menus, cocktail specials and more during the 10-day event.

September 15-17, 2017  7th Annual Jack Daniel's Atlantic City Smoke on the Water New Jersey State Barbecue Championship
Atlantic City, New Jersey
When the flames begin, music fans, barbecue enthusiasts and championship barbecue teams will descend upon Atlantic City for what is fast becoming known as one of the premier barbecue competitions in the world.  Considered one of the world's richest contests with a guaranteed purse of $15,000, the Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned DO AC Smokin' Hot Atlantic City BBQ Championship Grand Champion's purse of $4,400 is also one the largest on the competition circuit. We're spreading the love by paying top five overall and through fourteen places in all four categories.

Milford, New Jersey
Noon to 5 p.m. at Alba Vineyard in Milford, NJ.  The event, a benefit for the Foodshed Alliance, will feature tastings of New Jersey’s finest wines, craft beers and distilled spirits. The festival’s host, Alba Vineyard is New Jersey's largest estate vineyard and will be offering samplings of its award-winning wine.  We invite you to not only taste, but learn about the wines you are sampling. Alba wines are available for purchase to enjoy with food from “Morini at Alba” and to take home.  We will also feature New Jersey’s top craft breweries and its ground-breaking distillery to join us to share samples of their outstanding products.

September 30-Oct 1, 2017  Oktoberfest - Seaside Heights, New Jersey
Featuring live entertainment under the Festhalle Tent complete with authentic German cuisine and excellent brews on tap. Two blocks will be transformed into the Kunsthandwerk StraBen featuring fabulous food trucks, artisan crafters, outdoor seating for dining and strolling performers. Brauer Dorf will host a seasonal craft brew tasting area with some of the best local, national and international beers you can find. Add in a whole block of fun for the kids at the Kinderplatz and you’ve got a great time for everyone!

September 3-4, 2016  Wine & Music Experience - Allentown, New Jersey
Garden State Wine Growers Association.  Our annual Labor Day Weekend festival moves from its long-time home at Allaire State Park to the beautiful and spacious Horse Park of NJ in Allentown from noon to 5 p.m. The rain date is Monday, Sept. 5. The event will feature two separate band stands showcasing non-stop musical entertainment.

September 24, 2016  Garden State Brewfest - Whippany, New Jersey
At the grassy, tree-lined groves of Anchor Golf Center in Whippany, NJ!  This year’s festival is a fundraiser to benefit the Whippany Fire Company and the relocation to their new firehouse!  In addition to the new and improved venue, we have more than doubled the number of breweries, added several stages as well as fun activities and local vendors. #GSBF2016 will feature over 200 brews, including a Tri-State tent featuring brews from NY/NJ/PA, a National Craft tent and a lively Oktoberfest tent.  As in years past, the festival will start at 1:00 pm and run until 5:00pm.  Early entrance VIP tickets are available!
