April 21-30, 2017  Jersey Shore Restaurant Week
Jersey Shore, New Jersey
A wonderful opportunity to re-visit your favorite restaurants and try new ones. Participating restaurants will offer a three course menu for special prices with three appetizer, three entrée and three dessert choices.

April 22, 2017  Earth Day - Worldwide
Growing out of the first Earth Day in 1970, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

April 22-23, 2017  Waretown Wine Festival - Waretown, New Jersey
Festival goers can look forward to sampling wines from a nice variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail vendors, food vendors, and a children’s play area. The festival will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine.  The cost to attend is $20 in advance or $25 at the gate for those over 21.  Tickets available online. Designated drivers are allowed in for free.

April 22-23, 2017  Fast Tracks & Food Trucks - Jackson, New Jersey
Join us for the 4th annual Fast Tracks and Food Trucks festival with 15 food trucks all with delicious treats! Food Truck area is open from 12 to 7 p.m. each day and the wine sampling is open from 1 to 5 p.m. each day.  Admission to the festival is included with theme park admission or a season pass. Food is available for an additional fee. Entrance to the event is located in Movietown. Wine tasting portion requires a ticket. Tickets are available online for $10.99 in advance. Discounted theme park tickets will also be available for the day.

 

April 22-24, 2017  Spring Food Truck and Wine Festival
Milford, New Jersey
Village of Finesville, Milford, New Jersey.  Noon to 5 PM.  Welcome Spring in our picturesque estate vineyard while enjoying cuisine from the region’s most award-winning food trucks and live music by The Bob Lanza Blues Band.  Food prices vary by truck.  Admission includes entrance to the event, parking, and music.  $10 for adults 21 and over, $5 for ages 13 to 20, and children 12 and under are free.  No Reservations – pay at the entrance gate.  Wine tastings are available for an additional $10 per person, 21 and older, which includes eight samplings of our nationally award-winning wines in an etched Alba Vineyard wine glass.  You are welcome to bring a lawn chair, blanket, or beach umbrella.  No pets, canopies, or EZ-Up shelters are allowed.  Absolutely No Coolers Or Outside Food Or Drinks Permitted.  This Is A Food Event!

Big Brew Sussex Beer Festival is a perfect opportunity for beer aficionados to meet and hang out. With over 200 unique tastings it's a great place to discover new beers and speak to brewery representatives

April 29, 2017  Allaire BBQ & Brew Festival - Farmingdale, New Jersey
The Historic Village at Allaire.  Join us for a day of hops and hogs in the village! This is our first beer festival in the village. There will be a general admission fee of $5. Beer tickets are available at the door to the beer garden and will cost about $6 per beer. While you enjoy the festival explore the historic buildings, visit craft shops, listen to music and enjoy some good barbecue with family and friends! The event is rain or shine!

April 29, 2017  Rutgers Agricultural Field Day
New Brunswick, New Jersey
The farm-oriented event includes 4-H animal fairs, farm tours, plant sales, and department-specific exhibits such as the entomology department's cockroach races. Ag Field Day is part of a larger Rutgers Day, celebrating the university's ties with the community.

April 29-30, 2017  36th Annual Shad Fest - Lambertville, New Jersey
Each year the festival highlights our region's arts community, the City of Lambertville, the Delaware River, and of course, our favorite fish, the Shad.  The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event. Shad Fest features the area’s finest artists and crafters, great food and family entertainment, but the two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local non-profit organizations to raise necessary operating funds.

April 30, 2017 - 6th Annual Red Bank International Beer, Wine & Food Fest - Red Bank, New Jersey
The Annual Red Bank International Beer, Wine & Food Festival is a family friendly, outdoor celebration of International food, music, wine and beer!  Twenty five of Red Banks finest eateries will be selling specialty International menu items from tented areas throughout the festival!  International wines and beers will also be available for purchase. The festival features unique vendors, kids activities and great live music on two stages. The event is a fundraiser for Red Bank Education Foundation and Red Bank RiverCenter. Admission is $5 for anyone over the age of 10.

April 11, 2015  MFEE Chili Cook-Off - Montclair, New Jersey

April 19, 2015  Toufayan Wrapathon - Ridgefield Park, New Jersey
Toufayan will make a Guinness World Records Official Attempt to break the record for the Largest Display of Sandwich Wraps at this year’s Walk MS NJ event, on April 19th at Overpeck Park. Drawing on our line of 10 unique varieties including, whole wheat and gluten-free flavored wraps, Toufayan will create more than 700 unique sandwich varieties with the help of our friends from the neighborhood and the National MS Society with their amazing volunteers. Come out to watch us break the record right before your eyes! The Wrapathon starts at 10am in Ridgefield Park. Tune in to 95.5 WPLJ to hear the live radio broadcast of our record breaking attempt.

April 24, 2014  Friends of the Livingston Library 'A Taste of the World'
Livingston, New Jersey
An exciting evening comprised of a wine and beer tasting and international buffet combined with a silent auction and raffle to raise funds for the Friends of the Livingston Library. Wines from Napa Valley (Cabernets and blends), wines  from Italy including Piedmont (Barolos, Nebbiolo), Southern Italy super wines, Tuscany (including Brunello from La Rasina) the Veneto ( Amarone including those of Tommasi, Le Salette); wines from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Spain (Rioja), France including Burgundy from Sauzet; Rhones, roses from Provence...and craft beer.  A real around the world collection.   Wide range of price points.  Experts to discuss the wines and beer; orders taken on site, discounts available.  Auction/raffle includes wines as well as tickets and memorabilia from the world of theater and sports.
