One of the biggest fairs in the world lights up Washington state each September with star-studded entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, rides, animals, delicious food, feature exhibits, activities for the kids and much more. The Washington State Fair - Do the Puyallup is the largest fair in the state, and the Pacific Northwest. Started in 1900, it is a staple of an American pastime, while offering contemporary features to enjoy and explore.

Westport, Washington
A family feast with fresh fish, oysters and more. Live music and local crafts.

September 2-4, 2023  Annual Bremerton Blackberry Festival
Bremerton, Washington
Stroll down Bremerton's boardwalk and stop to sample the best blackberry jams, jellies, pies and cobblers. The beer garden has blackberry cider and the very popular blackberry wine with the festival label will be available. More than one hundred vendors offer a vast array of foods, drinks & art; fun run, fly-in and kids' events.

September 8-10, 2023  Annual Huckleberry Festival
Bingen, Washington
Family fun! Carnival, parade, food, talent show, classic car show, entertainment, and our famous bratwurst and micro brew fest. Fresh baked huckleberry pies, jams, jellies, syrup, and other huckleberry items will be offered at the Huckleberry Pie booth.

September 16-18, 2023  41st Annual Northwest Garlic Festival
Ocean Park, Washington
Celebrate the passion for this exalted bulb with the faithful throngs who make their annual pilgrimage to the seaside community of Ocean Park, located on the Long Beach Peninsula. This Garlic Olympics of Gastronomy is not held for the region's Garlic growing ability--it was born out of love of great, Garlic laden cuisine!
 


 

September 21-23, 2023  Annual Wenatchee River Salmon Festival
Leavenworth, Washington
Held each fall to celebrate the return of the salmon to the Wenatchee River. Due to Hatchery Construction, Salmon Fest 2023 has moved to the Rocky Reach Dam Discovery Center!

Yakima, Washington
For the purpose of promoting, developing, and cultivating an interest in Agriculture and Horticulture in Central Washington.

September 23-24, 2023  Annual Festa Italiana Seattle
Seattle, Washington
Actually a week-long series of events held the last week of September and culminating in a major Italian Festival at Seattle Center.  Celebrity Chefs, Cooking Demos, Children's activities in the Kid's Courtyard, Italian and Italian-American arts and craft, a Pizza Toss, an Italian Classic Vehicle show, Bocce Tournament, Historical Photo Display. Plus Pizza, Pasta, Prosciutto, Salami, Focaccia, Gelato, Espresso and more!  Festa's World-Famous Grape Stomp - Jump in with both feet and make wine as they used to in the old country. Put together a three-person team and compete for T-shirts and great prizes.

The Festival is a fun and educational event about the multifaceted world of tea. Our goal is to provide experiences covering all aspects of tea, from the cultural to the historical and the sensory to the scientific.

September 28-October 1, 2023  Annual Coffee Roasters Guild Retreat
Blaine, Washington
Coffee Roasters Guild Retreat is a prime source of coffee roaster kinship and shared efforts towards a deeper appreciation and understanding of the craft of roasting. Roasters from around the world gather annually to renew friendships, discuss pressing industry issues and work together to find solutions.

September 30-October 1, 2023 - BBQ Brews & Brats
Enumclaw, Washington
Mouthwatering BBQ, live music, vendors and ice cold beer to sample.  BBQ competitors will serve up some tastings of pork, brisket, chicken and ribs for our guests to sample. A celebration of, well, tasting beer! Small craft breweries will be showcasing their hops to pair with your tasty BBQ and other food selections.  The event is family friendly.

September 30-October 29, 2023  Pumpkin Lane at Pomeroy Farm
Yacolt, Washington
Open weekends in October.   Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch and down "Pumpkin Lane" populated by pumpkin head people. Scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, hay bale maze, feed the animals, and vendors. Proceeds support the Pomeroy Living History Farm.

September 20-21, 2019  5th Annual Arts & Draughts Beer & Wine Festival - Port Angeles, Washington
Join us for a traditional small town Oktoberfest - a Fermentation Celebration!  A giant beer garden in the heart of downtown Port Angeles, the waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca on one side and the towering majestic mountains of the North Olympics  on the other side.  Sample tastes from over 20 Washington state breweries, wineries and cideries while listening to live entertainment all weekend long.  Full street of local artists and crafts people who make and  produce hand made original arts and crafts, festival food vendors, art galleries, walking tours and more.  The little town with a big heart invites you to see the local natural splendor, enjoy our hospitality, soak up some fantastic live entertainment and drink down a rich assortment of beers and wines of all varieties and flavors!

A fall tradition cherished by Puget Sound families. 200,000 visitors each year will tell you it's WAY more than pumpkins! Fresh country air, wide open spaces and tons of fun activities for all ages.
