Peach and Sunflower Festival
Media, Pennsylvania
Linvilla Orchards hosts our annual Peach and Sunflower Festival early every August.  In addition to the 30 acres of peach trees, we have acres and acres of sunflowers have been planted on the farm creating a magical and breathtaking experience!

August 5-6, 2023 - Peach Festival - Lahaska, Pennsylvania
Prized peaches are the payoff during our annual Peach Festival featuring live musical entertainment and peach treats throughout the village, paired with great sidewalk savings in every shop.

August 7-12, 2023  Annual Butler Farm Show - Butler, Pennsylvania
Hundreds of 4-H youngsters bring their animals to the Butler Farm Show to compete for the coveted ribbons and positions in the Livestock Sale.  Thousands of dollars are awarded to Best of Show, Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions through the bidding process.  Arts& Crafts and Farm Products are on display.  Food vendors and exhibitors line the many walk-ways on the farm show grounds.  The show arena features outstanding shows each of the six nights.  Tractor Pulls and a large Demo Derby highlight the week.

August 7-13, 2023  Pittsburgh Restaurant Week
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Highlighting World-Class Meals through fine dining, fresh harvests & outdoor seating as Three-Course Fixed-Price Meals.

August 8-10, 2023  Ag Progress Days - University Park, Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania's largest outdoor agricultural exposition.  Penn State's Ag Progress Days will once again show the many faces of agriculture, bringing together people with a wide range of perspectives on the production of food, fuel and fiber. Sponsored by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences.

August 11-12, 2023  19th Annual Kielbasa Festival
Plymouth, Pennsylvania
Features kielbasa competition, parade, and entertainment. Come and enjoy!

August 12-13, 2023  Farm Heritage Days - North East, Pennsylvania
A celebration of North East’s agricultural heritage and those currently farming. Featuring live music and daily performances by the Axe Women Loggers of Maine, a hands-on STEM fair for kids Saturday, tractor and farm equipment show on Sunday, along with specialty vendors, chainsaw artists and more. Organized by Enjoy North East.

August 12-19, 2023  Washington County Agricultural Fair
Washington, Pennsylvania
Welcome to the Washington County Agricultural Fair where we annually celebrate our Western Pennsylvania heritage, culture and community by providing wholesome family fun, great entertainment, friendly competition and educational experiences for the whole family! The Fair is where agriculture, industry, education and recreation unite in a cooperative effort to dynamically portray the resources and accomplishments of the Washington County area.
 


 

August 15-19, 2023  Cumberland Ag Expo - Newville, Pennsylvania
We invite you to come out and support the activity this year. We are proud to invite exhibits for home products and special contests this year, despite continuing reductions in state funding. We will host the PA Preferred baking contest, the Angel food contest and the Apple pie contest. The winners will qualify for the Pennsylvania Farm Show. We will also accept donations for the bake sale. Please attend to enjoy the food and fellowship. Help in our fund raising effort so that we may continue to support all the exhibits for years to come. August 17-20, 2023  Annual Pittston Tomato Festival
Pittston, Pennsylvania
Delicious food, a variety of live entertainment, a parade, 5K run, games, rides, arts and crafts, bingo and of course home-grown Pittston tomatoes keep bringing an enthusiastic crowd to the festival year after year. And don't miss the Tomato Fights.  Attendance: 75,000.

August 17-20, 2023  Pittsburgh Little Italy Days
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Little Italy Days will be held on the streets and sidewalks of Liberty Avenue in the heart of Bloomfield. For four days this August in Bloomfield it's all-Italian-all-the-time! Expect lots of music and food, games and activities for the kids, more food and other fun things to do amidst Bloomfield's unique shops and fine restaurants.  Awarded First Place for Best Special Event - City of Pittsburgh!!

August 18-20, 2023  Celebrate Erie - Erie, Pennsylvania
Thursday evening marks the opening of CelebrateErie and Taste of Erie is the place to be! With plenty of seating, and music to enjoy, come sample what some of Erie’s finest eating establishments have to offer. While strolling through Perry Square, you can also check out the Artist Colony, where some of the regions most acclaimed artists will display their art for the evening.

August 19, 2023  Wine Time at the Colony - Saxonburgh, Pennsylvania
The wine-tasting festival, held minutes from Pittsburgh on the park-like grounds of Penn's Colony, will feature: wines from 16 award-winning vintners; gourmet foods and confections; plus a marketplace of gifts created especially for wine enthusiasts by juried artisans. The festival is distinguished for its selection of wines featuring Pennsylvania-grown grapes and fruits from three different growing regions. The outdoor event, which will have live music and outdoor picnic seating, will be held at Penn's Colony festival grounds, 365 Saxonburg Blvd.

August 19, 2023  Gettysburg Brewfest & Trail 5k
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Historic Daniel Lady Farm.  The 1st Annual Gettysburg Brewfest & Trail 5k is a 3.1-mile trail run and walk in the morning followed by a beer and cider sampling festival in the afternoon with musical entertainment, food vendors and barn tours and house tours.

August 20-26, 2023  Crawford County Fair - Meadville, Pennsylvania
The Crawford County Fair is one of the largest agricultural venues east of the Mississippi River, and possibly the oldest county fair in Pennsylvania.

August 25-27, 2023 - 10th Annual Banana Split Celebration
Latrobe, Pennsylvania
We are excited to announce tremendous growth, bringing over 25,000 individuals to last year’s event.  Latrobe claims that the Banana Split was originally invented there in 1904.  Attendance: 25,000.

August 25-27, 2023  5th Annual Butler Italian Festival
Butler, Pennsylvania
On the streets and sidewalks of Main Street in Downtown Butler, PA.  For 3 Days in Late Summer in Butler, it's all-Italian-all-the-time! Expect lots of music and food, games and activities for the kids, more food and other fun things to do amidst Historic Downtown Butler's unique shops and fine restaurants.  From the Producers of the highly successful Bloomfield Little Italy Days in Pittsburgh!  We have a spectacular line-up of entertainment and a very aggressive promotional campaign to make this year’s Festival a huge success!!

August 6-7, 2022  Epiphany of Our Lord Parish Festival
Monessen, Pennsylvania
This community wide festival grew out of the local neighborhood church festivals.  With smaller neighborhoods becoming extinct so have the personalities of communities. Featuring homemade Old European ethnic foods, this annual parish festival promotes community togetherness. People come together to enjoy great food and music that ranges from rock to polka. We generally have at least two live bands through the festival, with ample space for dancing. August 26-28, 2022  Seven Springs Wine Festival
Seven Springs, Pennsylvania
Showcasing wineries from all over Pennsylvania offering a tantalizing experience for anyone who loves wine. The festival features complimentary wine sampling from 31 wineries, daily seminars, live entertainment, a variety of crafts, and musical entertainment.

We are having a wine tasting event, live music and great food.  Hampton Fire Company (Volunteer Fire Company). Come on out and sample great wines from our local Pa Winery's, there is nothing better than sampling your favorite wines all in one place.  We will also have Wine Related Vendors on site.
