Scrumptious apple treats including country apple butter, apple cider, apple dumplings, apple fritters and everyone's favorite -- apples dipped in caramel! Take home a bushel fresh from the orchard. Juried Artisans sell their wares and demonstrate their skills at our Street Road Green Artisan Area. Live entertainment and apple pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional autumn celebration.

Gingerbread house competition for over $3,400 in cash prizes in the following categories:Traditional, Authentic Reproduction of a Significant Building, Student (ages 13 to 18) and KidsOnly! (ages 12 and under). A visual delight, the entries are displayed throughout the holiday season.

9th Annual Gingerbread Celebration and Holiday Mart
Gettysburg Festival’s Annual Gingerbread Celebration and Holiday Mart. Enjoy a gallery of gingerbread houses created by area chefs and artisans. At the Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College, Gettysburg. Free admission, both days Friday and Saturday. Enjoy a gallery of gingerbread creations, holiday art mart and activities for families. Also, participate in the gingerbread creations silent auction and People’s Choice voting. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit Gettysburg Festival Inc. Event hours: Friday, December 5 from 2 pm-7 pm and Saturday, December 6 from 9 am until 4 pm.

Be part of the excitement as the clock counts down to midnight. At 11:59 the giant Lollipop will start its decent, signifying the start of the new year, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
December 31, 2018 New Year's Eve Hershey Kiss Drop
A family-friendly New Year’s Eve! The New Year’s Eve celebration, planned and staffed by community volunteers, will be held at the square in the heart of downtown Hershey and is free to the public. The evening will culminate with the raising of the giant Hershey’s Kiss replica followed by a fireworks display at midnight. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available by various vendors throughout the evening.

Dillsburg's Pickle Drop - The 25th Annual Dillsburg Pickle Drop. Traditional Baltimore Street fare includes the New Year's Eve Midnight drop of Mr. Pickle.
December 31, 2018 New Year's Eve Bologna Drop
Ring in the new year in Downtown Lebanon as a huge edible bologna drops at midnight with the help of a fire department ladder truck. The 12-foot long bologna weighing nearly 150 pounds, made by Kutztown/Daniel Weaver Bologna Co. will be donated to the Rescue Mission. Live music and hot drinks.
