New Holland Farmers Fair
New Holland, Pennsylvania
Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community. The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy. Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance. Livestock events: Sheep, Swine, Goat, and Rabbit Shows; Parades; Long John Eating Contest; Safe Tractor Driving Contest.
October 6-7, 2017 60th Annual Springs Folk Festival
A celebration of the arts, skills and labors of our forefathers. Watch the women baking bread and weaving, the men hewing logs and threshing grain and the children enjoying themselves on an old-time hayride.
October 6-8, 2017 35th Annual Applefest Celebration
The small town of Franklin welcomes more than 100,000 visitors to Applefest each year. The festival features more than 300 arts & crafts vendors, amazing food, live entertainment and more. Popular returning events include the Apple Pancake Breakfast, 5K Race for Any Pace, and the Antique & Class Car Cruise that brings in more than 500 cars. The festival was named to the list of Top 100 Events of 2012 by the American Bus Association. Attendance: 100,000.

The Festival is held in Tunkhannock's Lazybrook Park featuring mature trees and a beautiful flowing creek. The Annual Pour the Core: Hard Cider Festival will be returning to Philadelphia-this year with even more cider and what will surely be a contest to remember! The festival will be held from 12:30pm to 4:00pm on the Marine Parade Grounds located at The Navy Yard at 4747 South Broad Street, Philadelphia. Attendees will enjoy refreshing and delicious samples from local, national and international cider producers, more than 75 ciders in all! Pour the Core will proudly showcase locally made ciders from some of Pennsylvania’s most talked-about producers, including Jack’s Hard Cider (Biglerville), Kurant Cider (Perkasie), Hardball Cider (Mount Bethel), and festival first-timer Power Core Hard Cider (Coudersport), among them. The event is sure to impress both cider lovers and fun seekers alike. Cangiano’s and Creekside Grove are hosting Vino on the Mountain at it’s scenic location in Susquehanna County, from noon – 5:00 PM. All Proceeds benefit the Pennsylvania State Police PSP Strong Fund.. This fund supports the families of fallen/injured state police officers. Local wineries, beer tent, food and craft vendors will be on hand to give visitors tastes of their wines and other products.

Visitors can shop local business's and great craft vendors, food, and enjoy a grand beer tasting experience. The Beer Tasting Event is held under the big top tent where vistors can taste over 40 varieties of micro-brews from round the world.
