Pittsburgh Folk Festival
The Pittsburgh Folk Festival celebrates its 60th anniversary September 3rd and 4th, 2016 with free performances, ethnic food, crafts, and a global marketplace filled with unique handmade and imported goods. Diverse international cuisine from more than 20 countries will be available, and kid-friendly hands-on crafts and cooking demonstrations for all are planned throughout the two-day event.
September 3, 2016 - 13th Annual Taste of Hamburg-er Festival
Bring your buns to Hamburg…you’ll relish the experience! Enjoy the Professional & Amateur Hamburger Eating Competitions, non-stop entertainment on five stages, two beer and wine gardens, crafters/artists, numerous children’s activities, Dine & Dash foot race, downtown shopping, plenty of food & drinks, plus a whole lot more! 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Attendance: 15,000.
September 3-4, 2016 - 22nd Pocono Garlic Festival
Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania
Two days of extraordinary garlic laced food, arts and live entertainment. All entertainment is included with price of admission, no parking fee either! Proud to be know as one of the stinkest festivals in the Pocono's. Attendees will enjoy three stages of continous entertainment, local grown produce and over sixty food and craft vendors selling everything garlic. There is fun for all ages with family theme entertainment, live music including Christine Porter from the Voice and our fun Garlic Eating Contest as welll as a GARLIC CHOPPED Cooking Competiton. Under the education tent there will be live animal shows and garlic growing seminars.

September 10, 2016 Wine Time at the Colony
The wine-tasting festival, held minutes from Pittsburgh on the park-like grounds of Penn's Colony, will feature: wines from 13 award-winning vintners; gourmet foods and confections; plus a marketplace of gifts created especially for wine enthusiasts by juried artisans. The festival is distinguished for its selection of wines which include traditional vintages crafted from Chilean, Italian and California grapes as well as wines featuring Pennsylvania-grown grapes and fruits from three different growing regions. The outdoor event, which will have live music and outdoor picnic seating, will be held at Penn's Colony festival grounds, 365 Saxonburg Blvd., Saxonburg, Butler County. Ticket cost is $20 for tasting admission, $10, non-tasting admission. Discounts are available for advance and group purchase. All visitors must be over 21 and bring a valid photo I.D.

September 10-11, 2016 - 12th Annual Gettysburg Wine and Music Festival - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Celebrate the grape harvest and enjoy a fall weekend in historic Gettysburg while you savor the flavors of hundreds of Pennsylvania wines and enjoy live music. Sample and purchase wine from 25 Pennsylvania wineries, enjoy offerings from more than 50 food and craft vendors and dance to the region’s best live music. The event annually draws nearly 7,000 attendees. Hosted by the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce and supported by area businesses and hundreds of volunteers, the festival promotes Pennsylvania wine, boosts the area economy and strengthens the local quality of life. In addition to supporting programs of the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce, the festival benefits community organizations with more than $10,000 in donations. One-day advance tickets are $20 and include a free wine glass, unlimited wine sampling and access to live music. Tickets are $25 at the gate. Two-day advance tickets are available for wine enthusiasts at $30. Youth/Designated Driver tickets are $12 and children 12 and under are free. Special pricing is available for groups of more than 15 people. Parking is free.

Come celebrate the harvest season at Beech Springs Farm with friends and the community. On September 11, 2016, Chef Taylor Davis, Executive Chef at Tutoni’s Restaurant in York, PA will prepare a delicious 5-course dinner using the freshest ingredients. Dinner will be served in the farm’s historic barn, where guests can reminisce with the smooth jazz sounds of Kerensa Gray. As always, Beech Springs Farm is melding good food with a good cause as a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Historic Adams County's (HGAC) Historic Preservation Programs. Your $95 ticket includes a welcome drink, a 5-course meal, musical entertainment, wine pairings and tax and gratuity. Held 5:00-8:00 p.m. Space is limited to 40 people. Advanced purchase is required.

The aim of the Congress Eating Disorders meetings is to provide a platform for academicians and practitioners from multiple disciplines to debate and deliberate on social change that is encompassed by innovation and technology. Eating Disorders conferences aim to gather experts in the field to share their knowledge. In addition to inspire and educate practitioners about appropriate treatment approaches for all types of Eating Disorders and to encounter them in finding creative ways to identify, diagnose, understand and treat patients with all types of Eating Disorders with individualized focus and intention.
