While there’s never a bad time to dine at one of Hood River’s acclaimed restaurants or pubs, this February there’s an extra-good reason to do so: The second annual Hood River Foodie February. This monthlong celebration of the Hood River Valley’s mighty food scene gives visitors and locals alike the chance to support local restaurants and discover some of the best food and menus in the agriculturally-rich region.  NEW THIS YEAR is the Foodie February Sandwich Smackdown. Just for Foodie February, participating member restaurants are creating a unique specialty sandwich to ”compete” against the other Sandwich Smackdown offerings. Bring on the mouth-watering sammies, burgers, subs and more, each with its own local flair.

February 14-16, 2020 - Oregon Truffle Festival: Yamhill Valley Weekend
Eugene and the surrounding countryside, Oregon
Oregon wine and truffles: sheer bliss! We celebrate this singular pairing and explore the shared terroir of wine and truffles during our Yamhill weekend in the northern Willamette Valley. March 7, 2020 - 36th Annual Classic Wines Auction - Portland, Oregon
Classic Wines Auction is one of the longest-running charity wine auctions in the U.S., ranking in the Top 10 of U.S. Charity Wine Auctions by Wine Spectator Magazine.  Auction guests will enjoy a gourmet array of food prepared by acclaimed Portland chefs, including a multi-course dinner paired with wines from specially selected Honorary Wine Ambassadors from around the globe. During the reception, guests peruse a multitude of unique auction items while sipping the finest wines and enjoying tasting stations presented by local chefs. The Auction itself is an action-packed, energetic extravaganza, providing the opportunity to bid on lavish live auction items ranging from exotic vacations to exceptional wine packages.

March 12-15, 2020  Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival
Cannon Beach, Oregon
Wine tastings, wine dinners and a wine walk through art galleries and stores. The largest event of the weekend festival is the Winter Wine Tour. Participants in Saturday's Wine Tour purchase a glass and can visit a variety of participating Cannon Beach businesses for wine tastings featuring Oregon and Northwest wineries.

March 14-15, 2020  Oregon Cheese Festival - Central Point, Oregon
The Oregon Cheese Festival is a farmers market-style event celebrating cheese and everything that goes with it.  Sample and purchase local, artisan cheese, specialty foods, beer, wine, and cider from over 100 vendors. Culture Magazine, one of the leading periodicals in the cheese industry, has named the Oregon Cheese Festival one of the Ten Best Cheese Festivals in the U.S.

FoodWorx is a one-day conference bringing together a variety of thought leaders to discuss current food issues with a view towards what these issues mean for us and the communities where we live.
