Annual Pear Blossom Street Fair

Pear A Fare, the opening event, features locally produced wines and brews, along with local artisan foods. Other activities include the Pear Blossom Run, with over 4,000 participants and the Pear Blossom Parade.   Attendance: 30,000.

April 16, 2016  3rd Annual Hard-Pressed Cider Fest
Hood River, Oregon
This family-friendly festival celebrates Hood River Valley's booming hard cider scene, giving seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike the chance to sample cider from the area's very own cider makers, as well as a variety of additional Northwest cideries. More than 20 cideries will be participating, with more than 30 ciders on tap. Entry tickets are just $5 (ages 14 and under are free), and another $5 gets cider-lovers a branded cider glass and four drink tokens.

April 22-24, 2016  37th Annual Northwest Cherry Festival
The Dalles, Oregon
A longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike, the festival is set in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and showcases The Dalles’ deep agricultural heritage and Western roots. The Best Ever Cherry Festival in 2015 expanded to three days of family-friendly activities and events, and 2016 is going to be even better!  The fun begins with a Dance Party on Friday at 7pm, and continues with the Gorge’s biggest parade, classic car and tractor shows, a 10k race, and lots of great local music and bands. There’s also cherry sampling with the Oregon Cherry Growers, pony rides, and Davis Show’s Carnival. Be sure to see the Festival culminate with the crowning of Festival King Bing and Queen Anne!

More than 25 themed wine activities throughout the Gorge over one weekend will let wine enthusiasts to see all sides of Gorge wine and meet the faces behind the labels.  The events, ranging from an elegant soirée to behind-the-scenes tours and intimate dining opportunities have been separated into 4 different themes to help you customize your experience and attend those that are of the most interest to you.

Lincoln City, Oregon
Chefs from throughout Oregon will compete to take home the people's choice title: Best Jambalaya. You get to be the judge. There is also a live cooking competition for best Cajun/Creole signature dish. Chef's will compete head to head on our demonstration stage.  The live competition will be judged by three professional culinary judges on taste, authenticity, creativity, technique, appearance, consistency and overall presentation.
