June 1-2, 2017 Entrepreneur to Table: Growing Your Conscious Food and Ag Business
The Slow Living Summit and Windham Grows present the Entrepreneur to Table Summit in downtown Brattleboro -- a conference focused on leveraging the tools, resources, and knowledge from fellow entrepreneurs and subject matter experts with food and agriculture know-how. Summit will cover the Entrepreneur to Table lifecycle including: how to bootstrap your business, branding, distribution, local sourcing, sustainable business models, the stages of financing, time management for innovation, and more.
June 2-4, 2017 Strolling of the Heifers Weekend - Brattleboro, Vermont
A weekend of fun and education for the whole family, built around the world-famous, agriculturally-themed Strolling of the Heifers Parade, which takes place Saturday, at 10 a.m. sharp on Brattleboro’s historic Main Street. The parade kicks off with scores of lovable heifer calves, groomed and decorated, led by future farmers. The heifers are followed by farm animals, bands, tractors, floats, clowns and surprises. When it’s over, follow the crowd to the all-day, 11-acre Slow Living Expo for food, music, dance, demonstrations, exhibits and fun, all related to our mission of sustaining family farms by connecting people with healthy local food. And that’s not all: Stroll Weekend starts Friday night, June 5 with our Street Festival featuring a culinary competition, Farm Art exhibits, food, music, dancing in the street. June 4, 2016 CVUUS Rhubarb Festival - Middlebury, Vermont
Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society. 10 am untill 2 pm. Join us of an annual welcoming, fundraising event featuring a fabulous rhubarb luncheon, rhubarb sweets and savories, sales of plants, books, and bling, a patchwork quilt raffle (and other items), music, and children’s activities. The traditional Rhubarb Festival LUNCH will again be served.

Each Restaurant & Vermont Food Producer serves 3 food item with no duplications. These taste treats represent their specialties and are sure to be found on menus at their home locations. Music, Children's Games, Family Fun.
