June 6-7, 2019 - Future of Women in Food Entrepreneurship
Strolling of the Heifers Slow Living Summit. The goal of Future of Women in Food Entrepreneurship 2019 is to bring together women and men in the farm and food industries and provide them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed in growing socially responsible businesses. The Summit aims to create a positive change in our communities and revolutionize the future of food. This year has been an especially powerful year for women, and we want to invite you to partner with us in bringing voice to women entrepreneurs. The Slow Living Summit takes place just before Strolling of the Heifers Weekend, a celebration of agriculture that aims to connect people with healthy local foods and with the farmers and food producers who bring it to them. The colorful centerpiece of the weekend is the famous Strolling of the Heifers Parade, in which future farmers lead heifer calves up Brattleboro's historic Main Street.

June 7-9, 2019 Strolling of the Heifers Weekend - Brattleboro, Vermont
A weekend of fun and education for the whole family, built around the world-famous, agriculturally-themed Strolling of the Heifers Parade. Come down to Brattleboro’s historic Main Street and dance to the MOOOsic.
The parade kicks off at 10 am sharp with scores of lovable heifer calves - groomed, decorated and led by future farmers. The heifers are followed by farm animals, bands, tractors, floats, clowns and surprises. When it’s over, follow the crowd to the Slow Living Expo for food, entertainment, animals, tractors, music and family fun, plus demonstrations, craft show and exhibits related to our mission of farm and food innovation. And that’s not all: Stroll Weekend starts Friday night, with our Expo Festival featuring a culinary competition, Gallery Walk, music, food, fun and more.
