The Great New England Bundt Baking Competition
Part of the 2018 Strolling of the Heifers Weekend. Our annual culinary competition for 2018 aims to find the Bundt Cake in New England! Will you “roll” with the challenge? It’s time for amateur and professional bakers to fire up their ovens and bring us their best, most original Bundt cake recipes!
June 1-3, 2018 - Strolling of the Heifers Weekend
A weekend of fun and education for the whole family, built around the world-famous, agriculturally-themed Strolling of the Heifers Parade. Come down to Brattleboro’s historic Main Street. 2018 Parade theme: 'May The Farms Be With You' The parade kicks off at 10 am sharp with scores of lovable heifer calves, groomed, decorated and led by future farmers. The heifers are followed by farm animals, bands, tractors, floats, clowns and surprises. Follow the parade crowd to the 11-acre Slow Living Expo for food, entertainment, animals, tractors, music and family fun, plus demonstrations, craft show and exhibits related to our mission of farm and food innovation. And that’s not all: Stroll Weekend starts Friday night, with our Street Festival featuring a culinary competition, Gallery Walk, music, food, fun and dancing. CVUUS Rhubarb Festival
Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society. 10 am untill 2 pm. Join us of an annual welcoming, fundraising event featuring a fabulous rhubarb luncheon, rhubarb sweets and savories, sales of plants, books, and bling, a patchwork quilt raffle (and other items), music, and children’s activities. The traditional Rhubarb Festival LUNCH will again be served.
June 20-23, 2018 Burlington Wine & Food Festival
The festival for wine lovers, foodies and those hungry for adventure! Guests enjoy world-class wines paired with creations by Vermont's top chefs and artisanal food producers. Annual event showcasing fine wines from Italy, Germany, France, California, Vermont, Oregon and beyond, along with Vermont craft spirits and award-winning cheeses presented by Vermont Cheese Council. Learn during fun and informative wine seminars led by winemakers and culinary experts from around the globe.
