The Vermont JerkFest & Reggae Festival is a Caribbean style food festival held in Brattleboro. It is a family-friendly festival that features Jamaican jerk hot foods and the smooth sounds of reggae, roots, and Caribbean music in the cool mountains of Vermont. All vendors are encouraged to source locally because Vermont JerkFest will highlight local and regional spicy specialty foods. The festival includes chef demos and a Jerk Cook-off, coupled with a pre-festival Rum & Brew Tasting event. These events are also minimal waste events, aiming to leave the smallest possible impact on the environment. Advance tickets are $5 for children and $20 for adults.

July 15-17, 2016 - Killington Wine Festival - Killington, Vermont
Over the last 15 years, the Killington Wine Festival has become a signature summer event for the Killington region. Guests enjoy a nice July weekend tasting fine wines with Killington Peak and the Green Mountains of Vermont as a scenic backdrop. The Killington Wine Festival continues to grow each year and now features over 500 wines from around the world represented by over 40 wineries and distributors.
July 17, 2016 Vermont Cheesemakers Festival
Vermont is the premium artisanal cheese state with the highest number of cheesemakers per capita: over 40 of them! July 29-30, 2016 Stowe Brewers Festival - Stowe, Vermont
The Stowe Brewers Festival is back for the 2nd year – bigger, better, brewier – adding a third session and featuring more than 40 craft brewers from Vermont and across New York and New England, live music, more than a dozen food trucks, Vermont spirits and more. Held at Stowe’s Mayo Events Field, the 21-and-over event offers three sessions: Friday and Saturday, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. and Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now: standard tickets are $45 and a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75 each. Standard ticket purchasers receive tickets for 15 three-ounce samples per session. VIP ticket purchasers also receive expedited festival entry, exclusive VIP lounge tent access, 2016 festival swag and a coveted “Hop the Line” pass. New to the festival this year, all attendees will receive five bonus “Spirit Tasting” tickets to use at a selection of Vermont distillers. The festival includes live music.

August 1, 2016 7th Annual Choco/Cheese Fest - Landgrove, Vermont
Area gourmands will not want to miss the 6th Annual Choco/Cheese Fest from 5-8 pm at The Landgrove Inn. This popular event is the largest fundraiser for Neighborhood Connections. While sampling the food offerings, attendees can place their bids on several fabulous items in the silent auction, enjoy live music or sip a beverage from the cash bar. Adults tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $15 or bought at the door for $20. Children tickets (6-12) are $10. There is no charge for children under 6.

The Open House Weekend is a fun way for people to expand their palates and taste the Marquettes, La Crescents, Ice Ciders and other wine varietals of Vermont; tour vineyards not usually open to the public; and learn about wine making in cold climates directly from the winemakers.
