Madera, California
Pomegranate themed festival.  Vendors range from makeup, beauty salons, women’s wear to toy makers, business banks and nuts, jellies and pomegranate products. Free parking and entrance to the event. Free children’s art center hosted by Madera County Arts Council and fun activities by the City Parks and Community Services. Art show, Master Gardeners representing the Pomegranate, and music. Fridays: Nov 24to Dec 22, 2023.  Downtown Grass Valley will be filled with the sights and sounds of an old fashioned Christmas; carolers, musicians, fire pits, mistletoe, and chestnuts.  Look for Santa and Mrs Clause, and other holiday characters.  The event hosts craft and food vendors, and the town shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, tap houses and bars are open.  The streets will be awash in festive holiday décor, lights and sparkling windows.  Grass Valley Downtown Association(GVDA) will be opening a beer and wine booth on Mill Street to enhance the shopping experience.  Stroll the street with mulled wine and find your holiday treats.  Pause at the steps of the historic Union Building as the Cornish Carol Choir performs traditional homeland Christmas carols.  Enjoy the wide selection of holiday music amongst the trappings of a historic gold rush town.

November 27, 2020  San Rafael 41st Annual Parade of Lights & Holiday Festival - San Rafael, California
Downtown San Rafael will once again host its annual Holiday Parade & Festival. This event has become a well known San Francisco Bay Area Favorite. Join us to be part of this Holiday Tradition the day after Thanksgiving.  The event will feature activities such as the Holiday Marketplace from Noon to 8 pm ,The Parade of Lights at 5:30 pm, The Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 pm in the City Plaza and of course the meet and greet with Santa, Mrs. Clause, and all of their friends, right after.  The event is attended by people from all over the Bay Area. It also enjoys a very local feel and is known as a great destination for people. The event takes place the day after Thanksgiving, one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
