The Ventura County Fair began in 1875, when the primary focus of the fair was horse racing. The fair was enjoyed so much that it continued every year up until today- with the exception of a few years during World War II. August 6, 2022  20th Annual Taste of the Delta -  Stockton, California
The Taste of The Delta fund-raiser for the California Delta Chambers showcases Delta Area Wineries, Restaurants, Artists, and Artisans. Guests sample wines, food, enjoy vendor booths, live music, and silent and live auctions. Early bird tickets can be purchased online. Yogi Bear’s Tower Park Marina will also be hosting the event this year. Plenty of parking for cars is available.

A celebration of our local wine growing region at multiple locations throughout the Lompoc Valley. Over 40 Alliance members will participate in three events over the weekend, showcasing local wineries and local BBQ food vendors.  BBQ Blast seminar, Live Music, Grand Tasting and much more.

August 19-21, 2022  BBQ Music Fest - Fountain Valley, California
It's a three-day BBQ extravaganza featuring live entertainment from local bands, a smokin’ food court, cantinas, arts and crafts, a children's area with animal variety show and petting zoo, magic and illusion shows and games. Foothill wineries, some whose grapes harken back to the Gold Rush days, will be pouring their best vintages. Cheese and Olive purveyors, several local to the area, will be offering delicious samples of their craft. Live music and a silent auction will round out the evening.  The Rotary Club of San Andreas produces this festival with volunteer help. Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward the Meals on Wheels program of Common Ground Senior Services

Join the Mendocino wine community as we applaud the award-winning wines from this year’s competition at the Mendocino College Gala Wine Festival. This fun event is being held to help raise the needed funding to continue the work of the 'Homeless to Hope to Home' shelter programs of American Family Housing (AFH).  An non-profit organization specializing in the care of homeless families and individuals.  AFH is one of the largest homeless service providers in the County. The 3rd Annual Pigs, Ribs and Watermelons Professional BBQ competition and Beer festival is a Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event and competing for the $10,000.00 prize money on both Saturday and Sunday will be 65 of the top nationally ranked BBQ teams including teams from the TLC reality television show on BBQ Pitmasters. The team with the highest overall score for the weekend will get a chance to compete in the World Food Championships this November in Las Vegas.

Los Angeles Tasting Table's 3rd annual LobsterRumble will see 17 of the country's best lobster rolls duke it out for a chance to be crowned Fan Favorite and help raise funds for the Rumble's official beneficiary, Share Our Strength.  2015 marks the Rumble's third year on the West Coast which will welcome over 1,200 lobster-loving guests to taste and vote their way through each roll.  10% of all ticket sales benefit Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign.
