Free Event.  Be a Good Egg and sponsor a beeping egg designed for egg hunts for blind or partially sighted children through a tax-deductible gift to the Blind Childrens Center. Support the children at our annual event. Every child should be able to participate in an Egg Hunt!

April 19, 2014  Sacramento Beer & Chili Festival - Sacramento, California
Live music, competitive chili cook-off, beer tasting and a home brewing competition. Proceeds will be donated to art programs for at-risk children and children of homeless families in Sacramento. Additionally, donations will help fund the Adopt a School Art Program for Sacramento regional schools. The festival's live music will be provided by local musicians and the chili cook-off will have four competitive categories: Individual, Industry, Vegetarian and People’s Choice’s. Unlimited beer tasting will be provided by local and regional brewers. The festival will also have a bike valet and a Kids Zone with crafts and face painting.

April 19, 2014  California Nut Festival 2014 - Chico, California
The vibrant and entertaining one-day festival pays tribute to Chico's rich agricultural heritage with a bounty of farm-fresh food sampling, cooking demonstrations, live music on two stages, an art show and, of course, lots of sampling of wonderful delights, wine and beer!  Proceeds benefit the Historic Patrick Ranch Museum, a restored mansion and working farm managed by the Far West Heritage Association.


April 20, 2014  Union Street's 23rd Spring Celebration & Easter Parade
San Francisco, California
Celebrates and showcases the diverse community of San Francisco and features some of Union Street's best restaurants serving attendees in an outdoor bistro setting.  A variety of children's and family activities are the focus of the event and include; large inflatable bounces, kids' rides and games, a climbing wall, a hands-on children's activities area, costumed characters, a petting zoo, a pony ride and entertainment from some of the Bay Area's best musicians.

The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. The passage of the landmark Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and many other groundbreaking environmental laws soon followed. Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

April 26, 2014  33rd Annual Petaluma Butter & Egg Day - Petaluma, Calif
Celebrating the region’s rich agricultural history as one of the premier dairy regions in the country. Together with The Petaluma River, eggs and dairy products turned Petaluma into one of the most prosperous communities in the state in the early 1900’s. The event typically draws over 25,000 attendees.

Planned and coordinated by community volunteers, the Cherry Blossom Festival strives to provide a cultural arts event that offers a forum for learning, entertainment, fun, and support of community.  So take the time to see, hear, and taste a bit of the Japanese and Japanese American culture through a first-hand experience of watching traditional Japanese dancing, hearing the resounding beats of the taiko drums, observing the mastery and various skills of martial arts, participating in the ancient art of the tea ceremony, or buying hand-made crafts or food with an Asian flair. Proceeds from the event support the charitable causes of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation including pro bono programs that focus on community outreach, legal education and access to the justice system.
