May 9, 2015  10th Annual Uncorked! Wine Festival
San Francisco, California
From 1 PM to 6 PM. In partnership with a local non-profit organization, Uncorked is a public event which provides an opportunity to taste, learn and experience wine from throughout Northern California.  Activities throughout the courtyards of Ghirardelli Square extending onto Beach Street, which will be closed to traffic.  Tasting tickets are $55 for general admission $85 for VIP admission hosted by SF Magazine. Tickets include a souvenir wine glass and unlimited tastings.  All other activities at are free. There is no admission fee to enter the event. The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is one of the longest running events in the State of California.  It earliest roots date back to 1893, held that year in Copperopolis, the fair eventually found a permanent home outside of Angels Camp.  In the spirit of the old movie classic "State Fair," the Calaveras County Fair is a blend of entertainment, exhibits, livestock, arena events, great food and our signature event, the Frog Jump.

UC Cooperative Extension launches its first crowd-sourced science project on May 8 to commemorate the organization's 100th anniversary.  On May 8, 1914, the president signed an act of Congress to channel scientific advances from university research to everyday people working and living in the United States. On May 8, 2014, California residents will collaborate on a dataset that further connects public higher education with community.  Everyone in California is invited to take part. May 2, 2013  1st Annual Uncorked on Fourth Wine Walk - Berkeley, California
The tasting event will be located throughout the Fourth Street Shops in Berkeley and will include restaurants and merchants offering wine samples, finger foods and special treats.  Attendees wishing to participate in the sampling program may purchase on-site tickets for $25 or advance tickets for $20 via the website.  Participants will receive a wine glass and map with all of the tasting locations.
