Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF) National Conference and Gluten-Free EXPO, the nation’s premier celiac disease and non-celiac wheat sensitivity event, attracts more than 3,500 people annually.  Gluten-Free Expo will bring together more than 100 companies exhibiting the latest gluten-free products. Attendees can sample gluten-free food and beer, try new products, and take home a bag filled with goodies and coupons. The annual Art and Wine Festival in Walnut Creek has grown from humble beginnings to one of the East Bay’s greatest outdoor festivals, attracting over 100,000 visitors yearly. Two stages of live entertainment.  And enjoy a Dixieland Jazz Band while strolling through 200 Arts and Crafts Booths, The kids will have a fantastic time in the Kid Zone. June 13, 2018  Taste of Little Italy - San Diego, California
Foodies will be strolling the picturesque sidewalks of San Diego’s Little Italy because restaurants of San Diego’s top eatery hub will open their doors for the 10th annual Taste of Little Italy from 5 to 9 p.m. Food lovers will enjoy live music while sampling some of the neighborhood’s most popular dishes, including appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. Ticketholders will receive a Taste Passport, a guide mapping out all participating restaurants in the neighborhood and their menu offering. Two different Taste Passport routes will be available on the event website—a south route and a north route—each featuring nearly 20 restaurants. Participants will receive each eateries’ tasting in exchange for a stamp on their passport. Tickets are priced at $40 per route prior to the event and $45 at the door. Tickets will go on sale in late April.

June 4, 2016  Afternoon Tea Pooch Party - Los Angeles, California
To kick off the Dog Film Festival in Los Angeles, VCA WLA Hospital is sponsoring an outdoor Afternoon Tea Pooch Party. Enjoy savory tea sandwiches, delectable pastries and sweets, and a selection of canine bakery delicacies. Strut the green carpet with your own dog, with celebrities and their dogs. The Pooch Party will host an on-site dog adoption with the Lange Foundation and will also feature fun contests with prizes, a dog fashion show, photo opportunities as well as meet and greets with celebrity dogs and go home with a deluxe doggy sWag bag.  Tickets to the Pooch Party are $150 and include an “all-access dog tag” that allows for VIP early entry to both screenings of the Dog Film Festival.  Fifty percent of every Pooch Party ticket benefit the Lange Foundation. Dogs are welcome!

June 17-19, 2016  25th Annual Taste of Redwood Valley

Each year a number of Redwood Valley wineries and a brandy distillery offer a special winemaker dinner on Friday featuring wonderful pairings of wines and brandy with hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert.  On Saturday & Sunday, visitors can meander along the back roads of Redwood Valley to each winery and distillery to taste library wines, unusual varietals, small production lots and experience the fun of tasting right out of the barrel.
