California Restaurant Month
January’s California Restaurant Month puts the state’s amazing bounty on rich display. It makes feasting even more accessible than usual, with a legion of participating restaurants in cities and regions across the state offering deals and special menus at various times during the month. And this year, more regions and cities are participating than ever. From San Diego to Sonoma, Tahoe to Temecula, the month of January overflows with sunny deliciousness. Here’s how it works: Participating cities and regions have their own restaurant week—lasting anywhere from a week to 10 days—during the month of January. During each weeklong celebration various restaurants offer special deals, such as affordable prix fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner, or sizably discounted meals.
January 1-31, 2018 - Sonoma Valley Delicious! - Sonoma, California
Sonoma Valley has partnered with Visit California for the month of January to celebrate all things epicurean. Guests will enjoy special offers, including prix fixe menus, special food & wine pairings, signature dishes and cocktails, and more at restaurants, tasting rooms, and wineries!
January 7-12, 2018 Cheeseburger Week in Pasadena
During Cheeseburger Week Pasadena honors Lionel Sternberger's genius in being the first to put cheese to hamburger and serve it at the Rite Spot in Pasadena in 1924. Forty of Pasadena's favorite restaurants, lounges and burger joints offered their signature burgers, some special creations and a deals during Pasadena Cheeseburger Week.
