July 6-7, 2013  626 Night Market - Arcadia, California
The 626 Night Market is the largest Asian night market in the U.S. featuring over 150 local restaurants, food vendors, entrepreneurs, merchandise vendors, artists, musicians, and non-profit groups. Night markets are a staple in Asian societies with the primary focus on hundreds of different Asian street food and merchandise vendors. The 626 Night Market brings the energy and spirit of Asian night markets to Los Angeles. June 8-9; July 6-7 & August 3-4, 2013.

July 11-14, 2013  29th Annual Central Coast Wine Classic - San Luis Obispo, Calif
Experience the beauty and diversity of California's Central Coast! Participate in the Central Coast Wine Classic!

July 12-28, 2013  California State Fair - Sacramento, California
The 17-day fair is a robust celebration of the State of California, its industries, agriculture and diversity of its people. Among the highlights are  concerts, wine garden, midway rides, demonstration farm (with most crops grown in the state), livestock pavilion, fine arts competition, harness racing, and nightly fireworks. Tastes of the fair include exotic foods from around the world, plenty of healthy & nutritious options, as well as many deep-fried foods: zucchini, Twinkies, funnel cake, chicken, avacado, cheesecake, and more. Attendance: 940,000.

 

July 13, 2013  Long Beach Grand Cru -  Long Beach, California
The Long Beach Grand Cru is an international wine competition as well as a public food and wine tasting. It was created by the Long Beach office of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to increase awareness and raise funds for legal services for low income people. The competition has grown in size and prestige, attracting wineries from around the world. The public wine tasting and culinary event attracts 1,200 - 1,400 guests.

July 13, 2013  12th Annual Taste of the Delta -  Stockton, California
Held at the Village West Marina, the event showcases wineries and restaurants in the California Delta region. Guests sample wines and foods, enjoy vendor booths, live music, and silent and live auctions.

July 13, 2013  Slice of Chico - Chico, California
Known throughout the community as a summertime tradition, downtown Chico's merchants invite the community for a day filled with great shopping and free slices of ice cold watermelon.

July 13, 2013  Wine Country Big Q - Santa Rosa, California

July 13, 2013  5th Annual Roll Out the Barrel - San Diego, California
A fundraising event featuring food & wine sampling from artisan wineries from around the world, local restaurants, a silent and live auction, and live entertainment. We expect 400-500 guests at this exclusive event. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego, which grants wishes for children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions.

July 13, 2013  13th Annual Breastfest Beer Festival - San Francisco, California
One of Northern California's most prestigious tasting events. It is a day to help raise funds for non-profit health center, Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, which supports economically challenged women in their fight against cancer.  Sample over 70 breweries, several cider houses and wineries, while getting your groove on to rock and roll party machine Wonderbread 5.  Menu includes chili, BBQ ribs, salad, sanwiches, garlic fries, fried pickles, Three Twins Ice Cream, Pop Chips and more. Ticket price includes live music, food, unlimited tasting and a Breastfest commemorative cup. Cheers to a good time for a good cause!

July 13-14, 2013  34th Annual Arts & Wine Festival - Los Altos, California
Join us in beautiful downtown Los Altos. The festival features the work of artists from across the Western U.S., wine from a half dozen of the region’s finest vintners and a wide variety of food. Free concerts throughout the day, rides and activities in the Kidzone.
 

 

July 13-14, 2013  Annual Santa Barbara French Festival - Santa Barbara, California

Livermore Valley's premier food and wine affair spans four delectable days. On Thursday night, the annual quest for food and wine pairing excellence has 20 winemakers partnering with Bay Area chefs to compete for honors. July 26-28, 2013  35th Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival - Gilroy, California
10 tons of beef … 4 tons of pasta … 4 tons of calamari … 2 tons of scampi …plus 2 tons of fresh Christopher Ranch garlic & $9.7 million raised for local charity. The 34th annual ‘Ultimate Summer Food Fair’; three days of incredible food, beverages, arts & crafts, live entertainment. Great Garlic Cook-Off with a $5,000 1st Prize. The 35th Garlic Festival will introduce the GARLIC BOWL on Friday July 26. This intercollegiate cooking jamboree will match the Executive Chefs from the University of California, Berkeley; Fresno State University and San Jose State University in a head to head to head competition with a top prize of a $5,000 cash scholarship awarded to the victorious school.

July 27-28, 2013  20th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival - Oxnard, California
Celebrating all things salsa - the food, the music, and the dance! Highlights include Salsa and Latin Jazz bands, a large salsa tasting tent, an eclectic vendor marketplace, international foods, kids korner attractions, a salsa recipe contest and much more.  Admission and parking are free!

July 28-Aug 4, 2013  SF Chefs 2013 - San Francisco, California
Highlighting local talent, regional ingredients and Northern Californian flair with tastings, classes, dinners, and events. During the weekend, a tented tasting pavilion will be housed on the historic Union Square, with culinary, wine and cocktail classes and events held at The Westin St. Francis Hotel.1500 per day.

July 13-15, 2012  Brentwood Cornfest '12 - Brentwood, California
