The Bracebridge Dinner

EVENT CANCELED FOR 2023 - WILL RETURN IN 2024.  Celebrated annually since 1927, the renowned Bracebridge Dinner transforms The Majestic Yosemite Hotel’s Dining Room into a Old English-era hall filled with Christmas festivities. The inspiration for this incredible Yuletide ceremony was Washington Irving's Sketch Book about Squire Bracebridge and Christmas traditions of the period. More than 100 cast members portray the Squire and his family, their servants, the Lord of Misrule, and minstrels.

December 2, 2023  Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair
Ventura, California
World's Largest Wine Walk is Back! The Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair will once again return to beautiful Downtown Ventura! The Most Magical day in Ventura will kick off with the Holiday Street Fair starting from 12pm-8pm on the 400 and 500 blocks of Main Street with vendors and live entertainment. Shop artists, crafters, non-profit organizations, commercial and food vendors. The street fair and entertainment is FREE and open to the public starting at Noon!

Get the tastiest tamales in town - from sweet to savory, traditional to gourmet. Learn tamale making with live demos. Enjoy the tamale eating contest, holiday crafts fair, kids activities, and music.  FREE admission.  Attendance: 10,000.

December 2-3, 2023 - 31st Annual Indio International Tamale Festival
Indio, California
Miles Avenue Park.  The world's Largest Tamale Festival!  It all started in 1992 with an idea by Dave Hernandez, a member of the Downtown Indio Merchants Association.  The rich heritage of the tamale, consistent community support and hard working tamale makers have created the festival's tremendous success.  Recently, the Food Network-TV ranked the Indio International Tamale Festival in the top 10 "All-American Food Festivals" in the nation!    Attendance: 120,000.

Mill Valley, California
One of this community's iconic annual events. This event has blossomed into a celebration that features snow sliding, a day-long program of entertainment, a visit by Santa Claus, an antique fire truck, food from local restaurants and food vendors, and culminates with a spectacular tree lighting ceremony.

The Oxnard Christmas Parade is one of the largest parades in Ventura County and attracts thousands of spectators to the heart of Downtown. The Parade features nearly 100 decorative floats, vehicles, marching bands, dancers and more! The Parade is followed by the Oxnard Tamale Festival at Plaza Park.

Los Angeles, California
FREE entrance to the public. More than 50,000 people from all nationalities will taste a full variety of Tamales (a holiday tradition) offered by Food Vendors and Restaurants of Los Angeles area. Attendants can also get other type of foods and enjoy Arts & Crafts, Live Music, Carnival Rides & Games, 20,000 free toys for children, Commercial Products, free health screenings, services and information provided by all type of exhibitor companies.  Attendance: 50,000.

December 1, 2016 - 6th Annual Noe Valley Holiday Wine Walk
San Francisco, California
The Noe Valley Merchants Association and Steven Restivo Event Services, LLC. are hosting the 5th Annual Noe Valley Holiday Wine Walk from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  The tasting event will be located throughout 24th Street from Diamond to Chattanooga and will include merchants offering wine samples, finger foods and special treats.  Attendees wishing to participate in the sampling program may purchase on-site tickets for $25 or advance tickets for $20 via the website. The on-site ticket sales locations are at the 3865 24th St. parking lot between Sanchez & Vicksburg and in front of Walgreens on Castro and 24th. Participants will receive a wine glass and map with all of the tasting locations. Ticket sales on the day of the event are "Cash Only."
