23rd Annual Tennessee Soybean Festival
Martin, Tennessee
Big Bean and Service Awards, BBQ Cookoff and Live Entertainment.  A collaborative effort of the University of Tennessee at Martin, local industry and businesses, leaders in agriculture, churches and community organizations, and countless other volunteers who work together to make the festival bigger and better each year. The Soybean Festival provides an opportunity for food, fun and fellowship, all in celebration of Weakley County’s cash crop- the soybean. The event pays tribute to the soybean farmer yet includes something for everyone.

September 8-10, 2016 - Here's The Beef Festival - Pulaski, Tennessee
Giles County is hosting a growing festival that is answering the question “Where’s the beef?” with Here’s the Beef: A Celebration of Giles County Beef Production. According to the latest USDA Census of Agriculture, Giles County ranks third in the state for beef cattle production and creates an impressive $30 million annual impact on the local economy. The events cross three days and boast activities for businesses, families and students with a variety of interests.

September 9-18, 2016  Tennessee State Fair - Nashville, Tennessee
108th Tennessee State Fair. This year’s State Fair will showcase the culture and promise of the entire state of Tennessee, making it a true state fair. It will epitomize the best of Tennessee, emphasizing agriculture and youth, heritage and future, all in an educational and entertaining atmosphere. During the fair, the Tennessee State Fairgrounds will come alive with traditional competitions, thrilling rides, and a wide variety of must-see events.  Attendance: 230,000.

September 10, 2016  14th Annual Wine on the River World Tour
Nashville, Tennessee
Come join us from 3pm-7pm as we travel through 10 different regions spanning the globe. Sample wine, beer, and/or spirits specific to a certain region. Restaurants featuring culturally themed menus will also have food available for purchase. Take a break from your travels and enjoy the soothing sounds of live jazz music. The World Tour will be held on the beautiful Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge, the perfect place with breathtaking views overlooking downtown Nashville.

September 17-18, 2016  Music City Food + Wine Festival
Nashville, Tennessee
At the annual Music City Food + Wine Festival, national top chefs, winemakers, and spirits experts meet with local talent to give festival-goers a taste of Nashville’s vibrant culinary scene. The weekend features an abundance of bites and beverages to sample and savor, over 30 demos and panels with incredible talent, and enough southern character to make Music City feel like home for your taste buds.

Henderson, Tennessee
Chester County, the "whole hog barbecue capital of the world" serves it’s nationally recognized specialty, whole hog, barbecued over an open pit. Plenty of music, acts, and comedy, along with art and craft booths, antique car show,  games and activities for the young and young at heart.

September 10, 2015
Tastes of Tailgating Cook-off
Pulaski, Tennessee
Beginning at 5:30pm on the Pulaski Courthouse Square, contestants will enter their best tailgate recipe for a vote by the spectators as they visit each decorated tailgate spot.With a $20 entry fee and enough samples for 30-40 people, contestants (churches, neighbors, businesses and/or friends) can show off their tailgate style and compete for the Best Tailgate award.  Spectators will purchase a $10 armband to taste the entries and receive tickets to vote.

September 12, 2015  Southern Artisan Cheese Festival
Nashville, Tennessee
Where else can you sample 75+ handcrafted cheeses and meet the good folks who make 'em? This once a year event brings together over 20 artisanal cheesemakers from six states around the Southeast.

September 16, 2012  8th Annual Taste of Loudon County
Lenoir City, Tennessee
Great food from many of Loudon County's best restaurants and caterers, outdoor shopping, live music, fun for the entire family.

 

September 27, 2012  2012 Taste of Hendersonville
Hendersonville, Tennessee
If you aren’t familiar with the event, the Taste of Hendersonville is loaded with local eatery booths allowing attendees the chance to sample the many flavors Hendersonville restaurants, grocers and caterers have to offer. Attendees may purchase armbands in order to take part in the tasting. Each year, entrants in the Taste vie for the top awards including Best Local Restaurant, Best National Restaurant, Best of Taste and the highly coveted People’s Choice. Beer and wine will be available at an additional fee. We also invite many non-profits and businesses to set up booths to give a true “taste” of everything Hendersonville has to offer. Bounce houses will also be set up to entertain the kids.

The 26th Annual Fall Fest held on the historical grounds of Belle Meade Plantation.  This event includes antiques, crafts, music, kids area, wine tasting and food vendors.
