Gainesville, Florida - NO FESTIVAL IN 2023 - WILL RETURN IN 2024.
The Festival will be a day of fun for everyone! Activities include Duke of Zuke & Zuqueenie Pageant, arts & crafts, Cook-a-Zuke contest, live music, hay rides, fried zucchini, zucchini ice cream, and contests for the biggest, ugliest and best carved zucchinis.

October 6-8, 2023 - Annual Destin Seafood Festival - Destin, Florida
One of Destin’s most celebrated traditions, the Destin Seafood Festival kicks off the Destin Fishing Rodeo that extends the entire month of October. The event was started in 1978 by the Destin Charter Boat Association Women’s Auxiliary. While the festival has grown into its new home on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, the Destin Seafood Festival remains the primary fundraiser for the Destin Charter Boat Association.

October 7, 2023  The Great Scarecrow Build-Off & Expo
Leesburg, Florida
Build your own your scarecrow to represent your family, business, school or organization.  Music during the event in the Towne Square.  All scarecrows are entered into competition for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following categories, “City Department”, “Individual/Business” and “Downtown Businesses”, judging will occur in the afternoon.  All Scarecrows will be displayed in the Street of Historic Downtown Leesburg through the month of October!  We provide all the supplies or you can bring your own.

October 7-8, 2023  Annual Greek Festival - St. Augustine, Florida
Sponsored by Holy Trinity Greek Church.  Savor the aromas and flavors of freshly prepared Greek food and Pastries!  Enjoy costumed dancers performing to the music of a live Greek band, then join in the fun!  Celebrate the Greek culture that is an integral part of St. Augustine’s history!  Come see why this is one of St.  Augustine’s largest annual community events!  A portion of the proceeds to benefit Habitat for Humanity.

The festival is a seafood enthusiast's dream come true featuring a wide variety of seafood. Rounding out this family-oriented event, nautical vendors will offer unique merchandise and services, artists and craftsmen will display and sell their original works, live music will entertain on stage all two days, kids will enjoy rides and a kid's zone just for them, and local businesses and nonprofit organizations will provide information on services available.

Orlando, Florida
IFDA (International Foodservice Distributors Association) Truck Driving Championship.  This is the only national-level competition held for the food distribution industry. Drivers representing foodservice distributors, foodservice manufacturers with private fleets, retail/wholesale distributors, self-distributing retail supermarket companies, and other types of food companies across North America gather to compete each year.  Reward your best drivers and take your company's safety program to the next level by participating in this premier food industry championship.

October 13-14, 2023  Annual Taste of the Beach - Pensacola, Florida
The Festival kicks off Friday night with a special progressive VIP Dinner that will transport diners to four of the island's best restaurants via trolley.  Saturday’s day-long festival will take place October 19, from 10 am to 6 pm. The day is filled with chefs’ challenges, team cook offs, live music, tastings, restaurants’ signature dishes, a frozen zone, dining tent, hospitality tent, kids area, t-shirt sales and much more - all along the sugar-white sands and emerald-green waters of Pensacola Beach. You’ll have so much fun you’ll want to stay the whole day. Entry is free for Saturday’s festival, with nearly two dozen restaurants showcasing their signature dishes for $5 each.

It’s time for great beer and brats in Panama City Beach!   Aaron Bessant Park in Pier Park, PCB Oktoberfest is on for two days of German and locally brewed beer, food, music and activities for kids and families.  Get ready for great German food! Pair your beer with brats, either famous or smoked, meterwurst, hot dogs (with or without sauerkraut).  Plus, nothing is better with your new and old favorite beer than giant pretzels with beer-infused cheese. October -, 2022 - Datil Pepper Fall Festival - St. Augustine, Florida
EVENT POSTPONED INDEFINITELY.  UF/IFAS Extension St. Johns County Agricultural Center.  FREE.  This annual  event celebrates the spicy little Datil Pepper.   There’ll be a variety of vendors, inside and out, showcasing their unique items for sale as well as rain barrels for sale, the popular Master Gardener plant sale, and a food court.  The Datil Pepper Restaurant Cook-off is on Saturday from 11:00am-1:00pm.  Local chefs will be offering their Datil inspired cuisine.  Purchase tickets for $1 each, then sample the dishes and vote for your favorite in each category (appetizer and entree).

October 1, 2016 - Octoberfest at Marlin’s Park - Miami, Florida
South Florida’s biggest Octoberfest returns to Miami once again for it’s third annual year. For the past two years Octoberfest at Marlin’s Park, formerly known as BrickellFest, has executed the city’s most exciting examples of an Octoberfest party.  This time, making it’s home at Marlins Park, the festival is set to be the largest and most extravagent illustration of the German tradition this city has ever seen.  The event will include authentic German food, live music, carnival rides and games, and of coarse, plenty of different styles of beer to choose from.

October 4, 2016 - Signature Chefs Auction - Melbourne, Florida
An evening of food, drink, entertainment, and live and silent auctions with proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes.

October 8, 2016  Clayton's Crab Company's 4th Annual Seafood Festival - Rockledge, Florida
There will be a huge kids section with lots for kids to do like Panama Pearl's Pirate World Pirate Ship, Home Depot kids workshop, a golf pro, Jr. Mad Scientist, Safari Todd Unlimited will have live reptiles for kids to touch and hold, face painting, and much more. We have 2 live bands performing Micah Read (American Idol) and Coco Locos. We will have a car show, over 50 vendors from around the state of Florida, and lots of food vendors from some of the best restaurants in Brevard such as The Fat Snook and Crush XI. We have over 40 acres of parking with 2 golf carts carrying people from their cars to the festival entrance. This event is kid friendly, free admission and free parking.
