March 1, 2014  St. George Island Charity Chill Cook-off
St. George Island, Florida
The St George Island Regional Chili Cook off will take place Saturday, March 1. Friday, the Auction art Preview is in the eventing from 5-7 at the island's firehouse (324 E. Pine Ave.). Saturday includes the 5K Red Peper Run at 8:00 a.m, Crock Pot Judging 10-11:00 a.m, the Auction begins at 11:00, booth showmanship judging is at 11:30-12:15pm Miss Chili Pepper and Miss Hot Sauce  judging at 12:15pm, taste awards 3:30pm. There is a $5 entry fee. Proceeds benefit the St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department and First Response. Attendance: 5,000.


March 1-2, 2014  Mixon Fruit Farms Annual Orange Blossom Festival
Bradenton, Florida
Lots of fun for the family. Kids activities and games. Bounce house, Bungi jump, Rock Climbing Wall.  Live entertainment. Craft vendors and food.

March 1-2, 2014  48th Annual Grant Seafood Festival - Grant, Florida
Free admission, free parking, over 100 crafters exhibiting, live continuous entertainment, along with a scrumptious menu of succulent seafood makes this a weekend no one wants to miss. What sets this seafood festival apart from others is that it runs through a 100% volunteer effort! All preparation , whether it be on the grounds or with the purchasing, cooking or serving of the various menu items is accomplished by volunteers of the community. We do not have any food vendors on site. All booths are run with volunteers: many booths are made up of family members, often times having several generations working along side one another. It is this complete volunteer effort that makes our festival unique. The total commitment of our community and all our volunteers makes the Grant Seafood Festival a time honored tradition unlike any other. We are proud of our community and our festival is a testament to that fact.

March 1-2, 2014  Floral City Strawberry Festival - Floral City, Florida
The 27th Annual Floral City Strawberry Festival. There will be plenty of activities for all ages including craft vendors, live entertainment, the Miss Strawberry Pageant, children's activities, and boatloads of fresh strawberries straight from the award-winning Ferris Farms. Don't forget the mouth-watering strawberry shortcake - eater-tainment at it's very best! Come early and enjoy the day!

March 2, 2014  Nosh Fest V - Cooper City, Florida
Nosh [taste] traditional Jewish style foods such as corned beef and pastrami, lox and bagels, falafel and Israeli salads, matzo ball soup, potato pancakes (latkes), noodle kugel, and more, plus snacks and treats from local food vendors. Entertainment options included a cooking competition, cooking demonstration, musical performers and plenty of children’s activities.

March 2 & 8-9, 2014  Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival - Fort Myers, FL
Raising thousands of dollars for charities, the festival includes the Princess Ball, fun run, parade, more than 100 craft vendors, and shrimp dinners.

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) was launched in 1989 to raise awareness of the availability of the School Breakfast Program (SBP) to all children.

March 8-9, 2014  Original Marathon Seafood Festival - Marathon, Florida
Best and longest-standing seafood festival in the Florida Keys!  Over 200 vendors, fresh seafood caught and sold by local commercial keys fishermen; live music and rides/games for the kids!  A real family affair and treat in the Islands of Marathon in the Florida Keys. Attendance: 20,000.

March 8-9, 2014  Fine Beverage, Chocolate & Food Show - Pinecrest, FL
Pinecrest Gardens.  The Fine Chocolate & Food Show, a unique fine chocolate and culinary event featuring fine artisanal chocolate vendors and creations from around the world.  The event will also showcase the gourmet talents of local chefs and present a selection of fine food products and beverages.  Stroll through the beautiful Pinecrest Gardens as you sample delicious creations from over 150 vendors.

March 15, 2014  Great Atlantic Festival - Jacksonville Beach, Florida
Music - Seafood - Fun.  Held on the oceanfront in Jacksonville Beach, the festivities include music, a fashion show, kids' rides and games, a crafts market, a 5K run and Florida, Louisiana and Key West seafood cooked in every possible way.


March 15, 2014  5th Annual Pigfest - Tallahassee, Florida

March 21-23, 2014  6th Annual Wine & Seafood Festival 2014
Clermont, Florida
Lakeridge Winery.  This signature event marks the beginning of springtime.  Live outside music and entertainment.  Local Artists and Crafters are invited to display their work. Lakeridge wine, beer, soft drinks and a variety of tasty seafood specialties will be available for purchase, along with complimentary Winery tours and tasting.

St. Augustine, Florida
Eat, Shop and Tap your toes at the St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival. The Festival features great Seafood, Arts & Crafts, Live Music and the Kids Zone. Eat loads of seafood before shopping with more than 100 artists and crafters while enjoying the music. You might go home the winner of groceries, cash and other prizes.  These are just a few of the highlights of the 32nd St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival. This event, drawing over 20,000 people is a favorite throughout northeast Florida. It is fun for all ages while helping out a worthy cause.
