Alachua County Youth Fair and Livestock Show
Gainesville, Florida
The fair is an educational platform for the youth in Alachua County who are interested in agriculture.  The event is free, and is held at the Alachua County Fairgrounds located at 3100 NE 39th Avenue, Gainesville.  Alachua County 4-H and FFA youth ranging in age from 8-18 can participate.

March 2-12, 2023  Florida Strawberry Festival - Plant City, Florida
Exhibits of agriculture, commerce, industry, livestock, fine arts, horticulture, and crafts await you. Ethnic traditions, social events, competitive contests, youth developmental programs, top-name entertainment, parades.  Attendance: 500,000.

March 4, 2023  Night at the Farm - Ocala, Florida
Boots, Bourbon and BBQ.  The annual event is held at the College of Central Florida campus. There will be food from over twenty area restaurants and caterers, plus family entertainment and prizes. Benefits scholarships through the CFCC Foundation.

March 4, 2023  Hearts & Stars Weekend - Miami, Florida
The Little Lighthouse Foundation's Annual Hearts & Stars Gala.  Hearts & Stars Gala will take place at Jungle Plaza at the Miami Design District and invites LLF’s supporters for a night of premier entertainment with top-shelf open bar and food tastings from some of South Florida’s top restaurants and caterers.

March 4, 2023  WhiskyFest - Hollywood, Florida
WhiskyFest is the longest running whisky festival in the country.  WhiskyFest offers you the opportunity to taste from a selection of more than 350 whiskies from around the world; many of them rare and exclusive. Meet the whisky makers at their booths to learn first-hand how the whiskies are made. Take some time to enjoy the never-ending gourmet buffet.

March 4-5, 2023  56th Annual Grant Seafood Festival - Grant, Florida
Free admission, free parking, over 100 crafters exhibiting, live continuous entertainment, along with a scrumptious menu of succulent seafood makes this a weekend no one wants to miss. What sets this seafood festival apart from others is that it runs through a 100% volunteer effort! All preparation , whether it be on the grounds or with the purchasing, cooking or serving of the various menu items is accomplished by volunteers of the community. We do not have any food vendors on site. All booths are run with volunteers: many booths are made up of family members, often times having several generations working along side one another. It is this complete volunteer effort that makes our festival unique. The total commitment of our community and all our volunteers makes the Grant Seafood Festival a time honored tradition unlike any other. We are proud of our community and our festival is a testament to that fact.

The weekend long festival, brought to you by the Rotary Club of Sebastian and the City of Sebastian, will raise funds to support youth sports and organizations throughout North Indian River County. Hutchinson Island, Ft Pierce, Florida
If you are a fan of BBQ Ribs and Chicken Wings, then you cannot miss the Treasure Coast Ribs and Wings Festival on Hutchinson Island. Wellington, Florida
The event challenges the culinary skills of Palm Beach County chefs exploring the boundaries of New American Cuisine and the Farm to Table movement along with good old fashioned comfort foods, just like Mom used to make! Our chefs come up with new and unusual menus of bacon and pork related dished from the sublime, Chocolate Dipped Bacon or Bacon & Bourbon Pulled Pork!  Completing the palate pleasing properties of bacon, we have an eclectic selection of bourbon and whiskeys. The distiller’s art and patient techniques are shared in a series of seminars and tastings. All intended to enhance your knowledge and pleasure of bourbon, rye and whiskey.  Artist and crafters displaying their eclectic mix of art, funky crafts and bacon and bourbon related items.  Backyard games to play; corn hole, jenga, checkers and the now world famous pig race game!  Great local bands live on the Wellington Amphitheater stage!

March 12-13, 2022  Annual Speckled Perch Festival and Parade
Okeechobee, Florida
The Speckled Perch Festival is the oldest celebration in Okeechobee, dating back to 1965.  At that time the festival honored the fishing industry with a parade and fish fry in the park during the height of the tourist season and the tradition continues today.  There will be local talent, food, arts and crafts and fun.  Our Speckled Perch Parade on Saturday at 11:00 am sets the stage for the remainder of the weekend. There is a $10.00 parade permit fee for this parade.  This festival has no admission; just fun!  This festival is in collaboration with the Cow Town PRCA rodeo.  Rodeo fans get ready to watch the roughest-and-toughest professional bull riders and bullfighters at Florida’s Cow Town Rodeo.

Marco Island, Florida - EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.
In addition to a weekend of great music, all your favorite seafood specialties will be available fresh fish, grouper, crab cakes, stone crab, shrimp, crawdads, chowder and more. There is a huge assortment of traditional landlubber favorites, too. Beer and wine will be served to quench your thirst. Over 60 arts and crafts vendors will open Friday morning at 11:00 AM. A kid’s zone with bounce house, slide, rock climbing wall, trampoline and more to wear off some of that energy while you enjoy the music, the food and the friends.

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Garden Club of St. Augustine.  A weekend of food, fun and flowers offering gourmet dining, a food festival and a garden show.  This year’s show features a variety of vendors bringing a wide array of horticulture including olive trees, aquatic plants, herbs, ferns, succulents, citrus, African violets, anthuriums (the ‘love flower’), bamboo, colorful flowering plants, butterfly plants, native plants and more plus gardening accessories and art. Everything needed to restart and enhance gardens will be available at the Expo.

EVENT DISCONTINUED.  We will no longer present our annual event, The Northeast Florida Veg Fest, but will be creating a unique festival with its own energy, a special event for our community to enjoy.

The Boca Chamber is hosting a fun day of food and games for the whole family.  Chamber Members and Non-Members are invited to come celebrate this gorgeous community in which we live, work and play!  There will be tons of food - including hot dogs, hamburgers, veggies, chips and much more. Fun games for family members of all ages, bounce houses, slides, DJ and the South Florida Sun!  Admission to the Community Cookout is FREE! You can purchase a meal ticket for $5 which includes a burger or hotdog, cold salad, chips and a beverage. Children under 10 years old will receive one complimentary meal ticket.

This yearly event is designed to promote awareness of Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerance.  Through the utilization of educational speakers, both local and national, the Expo seeks to educate the public on the Gluten-Free lifestyle as well as provide information and updates to the Gluten-Free Community.  Tickets are $10.00 and kids under 12 are free.  Attendees can sample or purchase Gluten-Free products from local and national vendors.  The ten dollar requested Ticket donation at the door will benefit Camp Weekaneatit, a week long kid's summer camp for Gluten Intolerant and Celiac kids. Additionally, Gluten-Free non-perishable food donations will be accepted to restock the Gluten Free Emergency Food Pantry at Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa.

March 12, 2016  Clayton's Crab Company 4th Annual Cajun festival
Rockledge, Florida
Clayton’s Crab Company is hosting their 4th Annual Cajun Festival on March 12, 2016. There will be a live Cajun band performing (The Porch Dogs), a huge kids zone (The Home Depot kids workshop, Monster Trucks and so much more),  there will be over 60 arts and craft vendors, over 15 food vendors. There will also be Airboats on display, a car show, and a wood carving demo and so much more. This is a free event and free parking. The public will have a chance to taste the dishes and vote on their favorites.  Author Joanne Caras will help kick off the new competition, and share her experiences compiling The Holocaust Survivor Cookbook, which is filled with Survivors’ recipes and stories to pass down to future generations.  Free to all.
