Sock It to Cancer
Orlando, Florida
At the exclusive Sock It to Cancer fundraiser, guests may use up to five new adult- or child-size pair of holiday socks to vote on the decorated Christmas trees of 30 participating charities, browsing trees while enjoying delicious culinary treats, desserts and a holiday signature drink. The tree with the most socks receives a $5,000 donation. Proceeds will benefit The Adam Michael Rosen Foundation and its fight against brain cancer. Additional “voting” socks are available for purchase. The holiday socks collected will be distributed to area hospitals and families in need.  COST: $50 per adult; $25 per child.

Sarasota, Florida
Bring family and friends to celebrate the end of the old year and beginning of the New Year.  This event attracts tens of thousands of visitors celebrating New Year’s Eve and is one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the State of Florida.  The ‘party under the stars’ kicks off at the intersection of Main St. and Lemon Ave. on Monday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. with food and live music. The Pineapple drops at midnight followed by a fantastic fireworks display in Sarasota.  Enjoy a great view-  without leaving the party!!! The event ends Tuesday, January 1, at 1:30 am.

December 31, 2019  New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop
Panama City Beach, Florida
A great family-friendly celebration at the New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop on December 31st. The streets of Pier Park are closed off to traffic as thousands of revelers enjoy free live music, entertainment, and good cheer.  For young revelers, there's even an 8 p.m. countdown, with over 10,000 inflated beach balls dropped from nets stretched over the street, followed by fireworks.  On the way to midnight, bands perform for the gathering crowd, anticipating the countdown to the New Year when a huge, glowing beach ball is lowered to signal the start of the New Year, and another great fireworks display. Time Square has nothing on this NYE party!
