June 4, 2015 25th Annual Jacksonville Foodfight
Each year volunteers representing the local restaurant community host this event, featuring 50 or more of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants and beverage distributors who come together in friendly competition to “take a bite out of hunger” by raising funds and awareness for Second Harvest North Florida. Tickets are $60 in advance or $70 at the door. VIP tickets are $100.

Downtown Coral Gables is celebrating our 8th Annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week presented by Bacardi USA with exciting new restaurants and new unique events. This year, you have three whole weeks to taste your way through Coral Gables, giving you plenty of time to try new eateries and return to old favorites, all offering amazing prix-fixe menus at a discounted price. For three weeks, restaurants will offer special three-course lunch and dinner menus. Guests (21 years of age and older) can pair those meals with the classic BACARDÍ and Coke the official cocktail of Coral Gables Restaurant Week, and MARTINI Prosecco as the featured wine.

June 12-14, 2015 Taste of the Caribbean - Miami, Florida
At Taste of the Caribbean over 10 teams from the Caribbean compete in a hot food/culinary team competition, bartender competition and pastry competition. Each participating team represents a Caribbean island which has held individual competitions to select their national team. Each team is composed of 2 senior chefs, 1 junior chef, 1 bartender, 1 pastry chef and 1 manager. The participating team members represent hotels, restaurants or educational institutions in the Caribbean which are members of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). The trade show at this event is a one-stop forum for gathering practical information, sampling, purchasing, strengthening established supplier relationships and meeting new vendors, all on hand to help Taste of the Caribbean registrants build food and beverage business – and yield benefits on the bottom line.
June 13, 2015 Annual Mullet Toss - St. George Island, Florida
This event takes place on the second Saturday of June each year. The Mullet Toss is sponsored by The Blue Parrot for the benefit of the Apalachicola bay Charter School. For a $25.00 entry fee you get a unique Mullet Toss T Shirt, and 2 mullet to throw. Visitors and Locals compete for prizes and bragging rights. There are prizes for the longest throws in the men's, women's and kids divisions. Located on the Blue Parrot Beach 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

June 16, 2012 Harvest Festival - Bradenton, Florida
A portion of the sales will benefit the American Red Cross of Southwest Florida. There will be many activities during the festival including harvesting grapes, food and gift vendors, and a grape stomp. Admission will be free and we encourage everyone to come out and join in the festivities. You know you've always wanted to stomp on grapes. We hope to see you there!
