April 5-7, 2019  Annual Rhythm and Ribs Festival
St. Augustine, Florida
The annual festival features award-winning barbecue, great live music and children's activities. Sponsored by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary, the event benefits local and international charities.  Attendance: 20,000.

April 6, 2019  Apalachicola Art Walk & Wine - Apalachicola, Florida
Art in all forms will be woven in and around picturesque downtown Apalachicola where artists and musicians will be showing, selling and demonstrating their talents.The festivities continue into the evening with a wine tasting at 1-4:00pm. Afterwards, area chefs will prepare dishes at their restaurants paired with special wines.

 

April 6-7, 2019  8th Annual Fort Pierce Oyster Festival
Fort Pierce, Florida
Along the waterfront in downtown Fort Pierce at Veterans Memorial Park & River Walk Center.  ?This two-day festival celebrates the Fort Pierce Waterfront and all of its bounty with delicious oysters, tasty seafood dishes and landlubber foods, live music & entertainment with a bevy of merchandise and arts & craft vendors.  FREE Parking at the City Parking Garage.  Festival Hours: Saturday ?10am to 6pm & Sunday 10am to 4pm  Attendance: 8,000.

April 6-7, 2019  21st Annual Bradford County Strawberry Festival
Starke, Florida
Held in historic downtown Starke, the festival includes a car show, crafts, fresh strawberries and lots of homemade strawberry goodies.

April 11-13, 2019  APC National Pie Championship - Orlando, Florida
Amateur pie makers, professional bakers/chefs and commercial pie companies from around the country and Canada have been competing at the NPC since 1995. The APC has created a standard of quality in pie making on all levels. We have a well-established record in the pie-judging field for both amateur bakers, professional and commercial bakers alike. Our commercial members have shown that winning an APC award can substantially increase sales and market share in that category and the competition gets tougher each year.

April 6-7, 2018 - Rotary Club 40th Annual Catfish Festival
Crescent City, Florida
The festival is more than catfish dinners (although the catfish fingerlings and filet sandwiches are a good reason to come). There is live music entertainment Friday night and all day Saturday; games for the kids; arts and crafts vendors; and a parade. If catfish is not your thing, we have burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fresh strawberry shortcake, and even frog legs and swamp cabbage!  Come on out to Crescent City for a day of food and fun and support a great cause while

For the 1st time at Mallory Square, home of the famous Key West sunset!  Visiting gourmets can find Key West chefs specializing in seafood, tropical and Caribbean flavors, European delicacies, vegetarian dishes and more. From 6:00 – 9:00 PM when the island’s top culinary professionals gather to produce Taste of Key West.  Chefs from more than 50 local restaurants and catering companies are to showcase their specialties at the open-air event.  Proceeds benefit AIDS Help.

A Bar-B-Q competition that includes Backyard & Professional Cookers. Categories are Chicken, Ribs, Brisket and Pork. Judges determine the winner in each category but everyone attending has the opportunity to sample each cookers’ entries and vote for the People’s Choice Winner. [email protected] spotlights singing talent from Deerfield public and private schools competing for prizes and trophies from 10:30am to Noon. Live bands entertain throughout the day, A Kid’s Corner with face painting, balloon twister and bounce house keep the children entertained. Adult & soft drinks and water available for purchase, Vendors will be exhibiting their products throughout the day.

April 30-May 1, 2016  Discover the Food Festival - Tampa, Florida
Florida State Fair Grounds.  The event is an expansion of the Food Truck Festival that has been held at the Fairgrounds annually for the past three years. While food trucks still will be featured, this year’s Festival includes offerings from buzzy new restaurants as well as tried and true area eateries and caterers – and the return of some Florida State Fair favorites. The Discover the Food Festival also will highlight multicultural cuisine including authentic Indian and Caribbean flavors. Attendees are encouraged to sample a new ethnic dish and perhaps find a new favorite.  Radio Crime, Tampa Bay’s premiere classic rock band, will headline the event. Entertainment also will include cultural celebrations and a children's story time  The popular Kid’s Fun Zone with an inflatable slide, bounce houses and more will make a return appearance.

In 2015 the American Pie Council will be concentrating on making great pies even better in the pie industry, restaurants and at home.  We will be concentrating our efforts at the 2015 Pie Learning Center.  If you'd like to be a better pie baker, attend the Pie Learning Center.
