August 31-Sept 4, 2023 Hopkinton State Fair Contoocook, New Hampshire September 8-10, 2023 - 34th Hampton Beach Seafood Festival Hampton Beach, New Hampshire Over 50 of the seacoast's top restaurants serving our world famous New England seafood. Arts & crafts, continuous entertainment, chef demonstrations, lobster roll eating contest, kiddie land, skydiving and fireworks. September 9, 2023 Vintage & Vine - Portsmouth, New Hampshire Strawbery Banke Museum presents Vintage & Vine, offering guests a rare opportunity to taste hundreds of wines alongside selections created by some of the Seacoast’s best chefs and restaurants. The New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets representatives and wine brokers are active participants in the event, providing tasting notes and suggestions and will be selling wines at a special discount good only at the event. September 30, 2023 24th Annual Chili Challenge Waterville Valley, New Hampshire Waterville Valley area restaurants compete in Town Square for the title of the best chili around! Attendees pay a sampling fee to taste all contender’s chilis and then they can vote for their favorite chili. The event starts at noon, accompanied by a free outdoor concert. October 6-8, 2023 - 34th Annual Milford Pumpkin Festival Milford, New Hampshire Milford Great Pumpkin Festival is held each year in the fall. Featured are some of the largest pumpkins in New Hampshire on display, musicians and entertainers, food, crafts and lots of events for kids. Other events and activities include: kids can make their own scarecrows, face painting on the Community House Lawn and live music on two stages. If you’re feeling hungry for soup, hot cider, doughnuts, waffles or smoked ribs, there is no shortage of food!! Attendance: 45,000. October 7, 2023 39th Annual Apple Harvest Day Dover, New Hampshire Apple Harvest Day is a day-long family event, featuring over 300 vendors, great food, live entertainment, and more. The event was first held in 1985 and now draws more than 60,000 people to downtown Dover, making it one of the most popular regional festivals. Attendance: 60,000.

October 7, 2023 11th Annual Powder Keg Beer & Chili Fest Exeter, New Hampshire Swasey Parkway from 12:00-4:00PM; one great session with an optional VIP hour. This is your chance to get outside and enjoy the largest beer festival in New England. Chili is back, along with chili judging. There will be some family-friendly activities along with some great food trucks! Bring the whole family, Youth and Designated Driver tickets available. No pets. October 27-28, 2023 NH Pumpkin Festival - Laconia, New Hampshire Over 20,000 carved pumpkins, costume parade, seed spitting & pie eating contests, music on three stages, Beer Garden, kiddie rides, horse drawn hay ride, crafts and fireworks. A new World Record of 30,581 carved pumpkins was set at the 2013 festival!!! Attendance: 40,000. 2019 NEW HAMPSHIRE: September, October 2019 Food & Wine Festivals, Shows, Events waiting for new datesOctober 12, 2019 Monadnock Pumpkin Festival Swanzey, New Hampshire The Monadnock Pumpkin Festival is keeping the tradition of the Keene Pumpkin Festival alive just minutes south of it’s original location. Since 1991, the Monadnock region has been playing host to thousands of carved gourds, smiling faces and loads of laughter. October 12, 2019 NH Fall Festival - Portsmouth, New Hampshire Strawbery Banke’s NH Fall Festival, presented each Columbus Day weekend since 2009, creates a traditional New England country fair complete with demonstrations from craftspeople, heritage breed and farm animal exhibits, farm animal and livestock demonstrations, presentations on heirloom seeds and food preservation tips, fiber arts, demonstrations and exhibits on historic crafts and industries, coopering, candle-making workshop in the Horticultural Center, garden tours and demonstrations. Event admission is the same as regular daily admission with children under 5, members and active duty military/families admitted free. Adults $19.50, Children under 17 admitted FREE all day thanks to a grant from Berwick Academy. 2018 NEW HAMPSHIRE: September, October 2018 Food & Wine Festivals, Shows, Events waiting for new datesOctober 20, 2018 10th Annual Wine & Chocolate Fundraiser Manchester, New Hampshire A night of live music, wine and chocolate, and live and silent auctions! All proceeds from this event will be used to provide daily and medical care for the stray and abandoned animals of Manchester. Despite our small size and staff, we have helped over 20,000 animals since 1996. This event, which is our biggest yearly fundraiser, is an integral part of our continued ability to provide care for these animals. |
