This annual farm event, regarded as one of the largest indoor short line Farm Machinery Shows in the Midwest, is a diversified presentation of agricultural products and services. The timing of the Show, before the planting season and spring fieldwork begin, has been ideal for the Show’s success each year.

August 18-19, 2023 - Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival
Elkhorn, Nebraska
Ta Ha Zouka Park.  The unique celebration features hot air balloon launches and glows, the Midwest's most delicious foods and barbeque, some of the area's best bands and musicians, arts & craft displays, and activities for kids. Enjoy tastes of Nebraska wines or your choice of beers with festival admission.

August 18-20, 2023  Kool-Aid Days - Hastings, Nebraska
Hastings is Kool-Aid's original home. In 1927, Edwin Perkins invented Kool-Aid in Hastings, Nebraska. Kool-Aid Days includes world's largest Kool-Aid stand, $2 mug gets you all the Kool-Aid you can drink and admission to Koncert Kool-Aid.

August 20, 2023  7th Annual Central Avenue Farm to Fork
Nebraska City, Nebraska
A multi-course, family-style dining experience featuring dishes created by regional restaurateurs utilizing locally sourced products complemented with regional wine. Learn about regional producers, growers, and wineries through enjoying multiple courses of expertly crafted dishes at our unique and memorable dining experience in the center of historic Central Avenue. Craft beer will also be available for purchase.
 


 

August 25-Sept 4, 2023  Nebraska State Fair - Grand Island, Nebraska
Offering insights into the unique culture of Nebraska, the Fair is built on 145 years of tradition. It showcases the talent, products, and people of Nebraska. Nebraskans come together to experience the latest technological advancements in agriculture, first-class entertainment, and the most delectable and extraordinary food the state has to offer. Highlights include a competitive livestock exhibition, a farming equipment trade show, and competitions in other fields, such as handmade crafts and baked goods.

September 7-10, 2023  Plattsmouth Harvest Festival
Plattsmouth, Nebraska
The oldest continuous harvest festival in Nebraska, with four days of activities for the entire family. 'Where Corn is Still King'

September 12-14, 2023  Husker Harvest Days - Grand Island, Nebraska
The largest totally irrigated working farm show in the United States. 80 acres of exhibits and 700 acres of field demonstrations.  Attendance: 50,000.

September 15-24, 2023  AppleJack Festival - Nebraska City, Nebraska
The mother of all fruit-based festivities and ranked in the top 10 of fall festivals by the Society of American Travel Writers. Apple pie, apple cider, apple cider donuts, candy apples, caramel apples, apple fritters, apple salad…pretty much anything you can imagine made from apples is available at the AppleJack Festival.  Attendance: 80,000.

Lincoln, Nebraska
Alpaca Owners Association (AOC) Join us the last weekend in September as alpaca farms across North America open their gates to the public.

October 7, 2023  39th Annual Applefest - Orleans, Nebraska
Annually the 1st weekend of October. The event provides a craft fair, food and fun for all ages, including plenty of apples and cider.

December 5-7, 2023  Nebraska AG Expo - Lincoln, Nebraska
The largest indoor farm show west of the Missouri River with over 900 companies represented.  Lancaster Event Center, Lincoln, NE.

December 31, 2023  New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular
Omaha, Nebraska
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with this year’s Fireworks show! The closing event of the Holiday Lights Festival, it is one of the largest New Year’s Eve fireworks displays in the region. Enjoy the spectacular show with family or friends before heading out for the evening. And be sure to arrive early – the event is expected to draw more than 30,000 people.  Attendance: 30,000+.

Albion, Nebraska
All Day Beer Gardens, People's Choice competition starts at noon, Rib Dinner & Cream Can Supper at 6:00pm. Live Music will rock us into the night starting at 8:00pm. November 16, 2019  Taste of Cozad - Cozad, Nebraska
Cozad Chamber of Commerce.  Be sure to shop Cozad for Taste of Cozad!  We will be having double punches on the Holiday Shopper Cards.  The participating businesses will have samples of food and drinks you may want to have during your holiday dinners and parties.

November 23, 2019  Holiday Food & Gift Festival - Cozad, Nebraska
Cozad Grand Generation Center, 9am to 3pm.  A Full House full of vendors & crafters. Hot Chocolate and Roasted Marshmallows.

September 9, 2018 - Taste of Florence - Omaha, Nebraska
Senior Health Foundation Annual Taste of Florence food festival from 1-5pm at Florence Home Healthcare at 7915 North 30th St.  Taste of Florence will feature nearly 20 local restaurants from the Florence neighborhood and surrounding areas.  Visitors will be treated to a wide variety of food served by some of the finest restaurants in the metro area.  Fun for all ages including a special Kid’s Zone with face painting, games, and prizes.  Senior Health Foundation helps fill in the gaps in critical programs for seniors in Omaha through Midwest Geriatrics, Inc.
