August 11-13, 2012 59th Annual Louisiana Foodservice EXPO - New Orleans, Louisiana The 2012 theme is "The Art of Hospitality". With hundreds of booths, the EXPO is the premier foodservice gathering in the Gulf South. Attendance: 11,000.
August 16-19, 2012 Delcambre Shrimp Festival - Delcambre, Louisiana Always the 3rd full weekend in August. Home to one of the area's most productive shrimp fleets. Events include a shrimp cook-off, queens pageants, fais-do-do's, food booths, carnival rides, and the blessing of the shrimp boat fleet.
