14th Annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off

The Great American Seafood Cook-Off has become the most prestigious culinary seafood competition. The event emphasizes the importance of cooking with domestic seafood and encourages the use of products from sustainable fisheries.
August 5-7, 2017 - 64th Annual Louisiana Foodservice & Hospitality EXPO - New Orleans, Louisiana
The Louisiana Foodservice & Hospitality EXPO is THE premier foodservice event for the Gulf Coast. Held in New Orleans every August, the Louisiana Restaurant Association invites companies to exhibit their products and services to an audience of thousands of restaurant owners and operators. The Great American Seafood Cook-Off will co-locate within the Louisiana Foodservice & Hospitality EXPO for the 14th year in a row.
August 16-20, 2017 Delcambre Shrimp Festival - Delcambre, Louisiana
Always the 3rd full weekend in August. Home to one of the area's most productive shrimp fleets. Events include a shrimp cook-off, queens pageants, fais-do-do's, food booths, carnival rides, and the blessing of the shrimp boat fleet.
