Ag Expo
West Monroe, Louisiana
Trade Show – Farm Equipment - Livestock Shows – Educational Events:  The Best of American Agriculture, Producing your food and fiber…safely, efficiently, abundantly!  Hosted by the North Louisiana Agri-Business Council, AG EXPO is unique in the Louisiana, south Arkansas, east Texas and Mississippi area. This premier event is attended annually by 10,000 to 12,000 visitors from the region.  Since the early 1980’s, AG EXPO has provided a means to educate the public, both youth and adult, on the many ways agriculture touches daily lives, from explaining the food chain to the multiple applications of agricultural products. The event introduces advances in technology and science being made for efficiencies in growing, harvesting and marketing all kinds of commodities. Additionally, the agri-business community enjoys a unique opportunity to present products and services. It’s a family event.  Attendance: 12,000.

January 18, 2024  7th Annual Fête du Vin - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Fête du Vin, premier wine tasting of Baton Rouge Epicurean Society, gives guests the unique opportunity to taste high end wines from around the world and private cellars.

January 21-24, 2024  62nd Annual United States Sweetpotato Convention - New Orleans, Louisiana
The United States Sweet Potato Council is the advocate for the economic well-being of U.S. sweet potato growers.

January 27, 2024  Bayou King Cake Festival - Thibodaux, Louisiana
Get in the spirit of Mardi Gras and sample a variety of locally baked King Cakes and vote on the one you believe is the best on the bayou. The fun continues with the Krewe of King Cake Children's Parade and live music.

School Nutrition Association.  'Make the Grade with School Breakfast.'

March 9, 2024  Gumbo Gladiators Cook-Off - Shreveport, Louisiana
Gumbo Gladiators is Volunteer for Youth Justice’s annual fundraiser. A perfect day for family fun!! Conveniently located in downtown Shreveport at Festival Plaza. All proceeds go to continuing to help at risk children and families in our local communities.
 


 

March 9, 2024  Cajun Chili Fest - Louisiana State Cookoff
Maurice, Louisiana
Great family fun with a free Kids Zone play area, live music, concessions, raffles, prize drawings and award-winning chili!  $5 admission to enjoy dozens of chilis from award-winning chili champs and local teams putting their best recipes to the test! Kids 12 and under are free.

March 10, 2024  Crawfete - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The Official Kickoff To Crawfish Season.  Regional restaurants and caterers will compete for your vote for either the best gourmet crawfish dish or the best-boiled crawfish.  Guests will enjoy crawfish tastings of boiled crawfish and gourmet crawfish dishes from dozens of restaurants and caterers, live entertainment, and also plenty of beer and water, as they decide who wins the 2023 People's Choice awards.

March 14-16, 2024  Iowa Rabbit Festival - Iowa, Louisiana
A top 20 festival in the Southeastern United States, attracting over 20,000 people each year. Rabbit Cookoff, Miss Bunny Pageant, Parade, music, carnival, etc. The State Rabbit Show is during the Festival, with over 400 Rabbits competing! Every kind of Rabbit known to man is there. Annually the 3rd Weekend in March.  Attendance: 20,000.

March 19, 2024 - 'AgDay' National Agriculture Day - Nationwide
A day to recognize & celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture

March 21-24, 2024  48th Annual Louisiana Crawfish Festival
Chalmette, Louisiana
The crawfish are being trained for the races and are gnawing at the bit as we patiently await the jockeys to be chosen from the audience. The food vendors are in the check mode for Louisiana Crawfish, fresh veges and all the fixins to make the boil with all the trimmings down right tasty Louisiana style. The entertainers are tuning up for the greatest show on earth and the rides, midway and carnival are shining with all the giltter, horns, bells and whistles. Arts and crafts vendors are designing, assembling and creating as if in Santa's workshop!  It's the perfect venue for famlies, reunions and new acquaintences to welcome in the Crawfish Season and Fair and Festival social events. There's fun for everyone beginning with YOU!!!

March 22-23, 2024  Hammond Smokin' BBQ Challenge
Hammond, Louisiana
This year's event will also feature 50+ local teams competing in the Backyard Boogie and the Chicken Little Contest, making this event the largest BBQ event in the State of Louisiana.

The week of George Washington's birthday as National FFA Week in recognition of his legacy as an agriculturist and farmer.

March 18, 2023  NOLA on Tap Beer Fest - New Orleans, Louisiana
NOLA on Tap is the largest beer fest in the region. 25,000+ beer lovers help us kick-off Oktoberfest in New Orleans.  NOLA on Tap features include: live music, 400+ local, national & homebrewed beer, Homebrewers Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) competition & People’s Choice Awards, food, contests, dog-friendly, art & merchandise vendors, non-beer drinks and games.  Attendance: 25,000+.

Cake Fest is a Cake Competition and Exposition featuring a number of the industry's leading bakers and artists as well as a number of local flavor vendors.

March 26, 2017  32nd Annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off - Eunice, Louisiana
About 100 teams compete to see who can cook the best crawfish etouffee (smothered crawfish usually served with rice). Thousands of visitors come to this annual event to view three categories of cook-off participants. Last Sunday in March each year.
