Breaux Bridge, Louisiana
Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest, Cajun Cooking Demonstration, Cajun Dancing Contest, Crawfish Races, Parade, Crawfish Etouffee Cookoff, music, entertainment, arts & crafts.

Rayne Frog Festival
The annual Rayne Frog Festival with a full schedule of music, delicious foods and drinks, signature events such as frog racing and jumping, selection of the Rayne Lions Club Derby Queen, Diaper Derby, Arts & Crafts show at the Civic Center and the Grande Parade.
May 10-13, 2018 44th Annual Cochon de Lait Festival
Held annually on 2nd weekend in May, the festival mixes great cajun food, good times and music with cochon de lait (French for roast suckling pig). Includes a giant midway, nightly street dances, contests, parade, arts/crafts booths and so much more.
May 11-13, 2018 Bayou Cajun Fest
This exciting weekend will be highlighted by a craft market Saturday and Sunday, carnival rides and delicious Cajun foods all weekend, including a Mother's Day Brunch featuring Cook Bob Faulk, who will be showcasing the famous Mt. Zion Church gumbo, along with baked chicken, rice dressing, dinner roll, green salad and dessert from at 10:30 am – 1:30 pm! (also: www.lacajunbayou.com/calendar-of-events )
May 12, 2018 Mud Bug Boil Off
Come join us for a family fun event in the Historic Downtown Thibodaux area with great food, live music, and fun for all ages. Proceeds to go to three local non-profit organizations - Children's Advocacy Center of Lafourche, Thibodaux Main Street, Inc. and the Thibodaux Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #52.

Louisiana Gourd Society. The purpose of the Louisiana Gourd Society shall be to educate, promote, and encourage the growing, culture, use, history, art and/or craftsmanship of gourds to our membership and the general public.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Each year, hundreds of wineries and restaurants participate. Menus feature local flavor and innovative new creations inspired by diverse cuisines. One of Louisiana’s largest and most popular Cajun festivals, with Crawfish Boil, Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Jazz artists, mouth-watering Cajun cuisine, raucous contests, and fun for all ages. Mudbug Madness draws as many as 56,000 people in one day. Attendance: 56,000.
May 25-27, 2018 51st Annual Jambalaya Festival
The festival features World Champion Jambalaya served daily, live music and entertainment, carnival rides, cooking contests, a variety of food and so much fun it takes four days to get it all in.

May 27, 2017 The Big Gateaux Show - New Orleans, Louisiana
A pastry competition full of scintillating displays of burlesque, pastries and cocktails features celebrity chefs and judges alongside Burlesque starlets, Trixi Minx & Bella Blue. Join this after-party following the Saturday Night Grand Tasting and chose your favorite delight. The winning design and pastry chef will be awarded a $5000 prize sponsored by Swiss Chalet. This ticketed event is a sell out every year!

Festival Grounds on Bayou Teche, 203 N. New Market St., St. Martinville, LA. Okra cook-off will take place on Saturday morning. There will be great food, crafts, carnival, and on-site RV parking available. Admission is $5 per person, children 12 and under are free.
