Bucktown Seafood Festival
This year’s Bucktown Seafood Festival marks the 20th anniversary, which is a huge milestone for St. Louis King of France School. The festival, which is free and open to the public, is the school’s largest fundraiser and all revenue raised during this event is used for the direct benefit of the students. From new food vendors to new games for little children to engage in, this will be the best weekend in Bucktown. The Bucktown Seafood Festival is St. Louis King of France School’s largest fundraiser, and all monies raised during this event are used entirely to benefit our students. We are proud of our ability to offer superior educational opportunities to our students while maintaining small class sizes. We are grateful for your support!
November 3-5, 2017 49th Louisiana Pecan Festival - Colfax, Louisiana
Festival events include the Grand Parade, live music, contests, fireworks and the Queen's Ball. First full weekend in November.

Includes pageant, pork cook-off, music, parade and contests.

Taste of Crowley
From 6:00 - 9:00 pm. This year's event will be held at Le Grand Hall - Grand Opera House of the South, 525 N. Parkerson Avenue, in historic downtown Crowley. We're celebrating the "flavors" of Crowley with a night of LOCAL Art. Flavor and Music! Crowley's newest and traditional restaurants will be serving up hearty taste samples of their most popular dishes. Back to entertain the crowd will be Crowley native Chris Trahan and The Chris Trahan Band. The Crowley Art Association will be on hand to showcase our local art scene.

The Cracklin Cook-Off is one of the highlights of each Cracklin Festival. The Cook-Off is not only a test of cracklin cooking ability, but showmanship as well.
November 10-12, 2017 24th Annual Pecan Festival
St. Rita School. The Annual Pecan Festival will have three days of rides, games and family entertainment. From festival staples like funnel cakes and hot dogs, to Pecan Fest specialties from Oak Oven to Abita Pecan Harvest, you're sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst. Maybe even pecan pie!

Mon Ami. Finger licking Southern Soul Food cook-off. Family oriented food festival, fais-do-do, arts and crafts, refreshments and more. Held annually on the second Saturday in November.
November 11, 2017 - Wine on the River World Tour
New Orleans, Louisiana
From 3pm to 6pm as we travel through different regions spanning the globe at the beautiful Audubon Aquarium Plaza. Sample wine from national and international vineyards. With an “Around the World” theme focusing on cultural regions with wine and food in each selected area. Live music entertainment will be going throughout the evening to keep the fun going.
November 12, 2017 Oak Street Po-boy Festival
New Orleans, Louisiana
Featuring over 50 food vendors serving the best-tasting po-boys in New Orleans, two stages with live music, panel discussions covering the history of the po-boy and the Oak Street corridor, and an expanded Kid's World. The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival (formerly the New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival) was named the Best Food Festival by Gambit readers for the third year in a row! Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and we can't wait to see you at this year's Festival! Attendance: 50,000.
November 17-18, 2017 5th Annual Beef Tongue Cook-Off
Food cook off and Barn Dance. Come out to Lakeview Park to see who is the Beef-Tongue Master! Entry is free for campers. Registration for non-campers is $10 per team The winner will receive a weekend RV stay! People's Choice tasting will be from 1:00pm till Barn Dance Saturday night 8pm to 12am. Family friendly, all ages welcome. $10 Door for adults, $5 for kids age 4 - 18. Camp for 2 nights and receive 2 free tickets to dance.
