10th Annual Taste of Crowley
Crowley, Louisiana
From 6:00 - 9:00 pm. This year's event will be held at The Grand Opera House, 505 N. Parkerson Avenue, in historic downtown Crowley.  Taste of Crowley is an annual community event to promote Crowley’s main street district and cultural assets, as part of the Louisiana State Main Street program.  This year’s event will feature live entertainment, an art exhibit by local artists, food samples from local restaurants.

November 2-4, 2018  52nd Annual Louisiana Swine Festival
Basile, Louisiana
Includes pageant, pork cook-off, music, parade and contests.  Attendance: 8,000.

November 2-4, 2018  50th Louisiana Pecan Festival - Colfax, Louisiana
Festival events include the Grand Parade, live music, contests, fireworks and the Queen's Ball.  First full weekend in November.

November 2-4, 2018  Bucktown Seafood Festival - Metairie, Louisiana
The festival, which is free and open to the public, is the school’s largest fundraiser and all revenue raised during this event is used for the direct benefit of the students. From new food vendors to new games for little children to engage in, this will be the best weekend in Bucktown.  The Bucktown Seafood Festival is St. Louis King of France School’s largest fundraiser, and all monies raised during this event are used entirely to benefit our students. We are proud of our ability to offer superior educational opportunities to our students while maintaining small class sizes. We are grateful for your support!

November 3-4, 2018  Giant Omelette Celebration - Abbeville, Louisiana
The cooking of a 5,000 Egg Omelette! Authentic Cajun Food, Art Show, Musical Entertainment, Antique Car Show, Kid's World, and much more!

November 8-11, 2018  Port Barre Cracklin Festival
Port Barre, Louisiana
The Cracklin Cook-Off is one of the highlights of each Cracklin Festival.  The Cook-Off is not only a test of cracklin cooking ability, but showmanship as well.

Big Boy's Main Street Cook Off
Thibodaux, Louisiana
The event is a culinary showcase of Cajun cuisine cooked by local chefs. In a two-block area of downtown Thibodaux, you will find dozens of cooks competing in the competion and can sample their dishes.

November 9-11, 2018  Annual Pecan Festival - Harahan, Louisiana
St. Rita School.  The Annual Pecan Festival will have three days of rides, games and family entertainment. From festival staples like funnel cakes and hot dogs, to Pecan Fest specialties from Oak Oven to Abita Pecan Harvest, you're sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst. Maybe even pecan pie!

November 9-11, 2018  SCR OysterFest - Metairle, Louisiana
Well its that time of year again. The St. Clement of Rome OysterFest begins this evening at 6:00pm. Come get some of Drago's famous charbroiled oysters and listen to some great music by The Funky Beans followed by GROOVY 7.

November 10, 2018 - Wine on the River World Tour
New Orleans, Louisiana
From 3pm to 6pm as we travel through different regions spanning the globe at the beautiful Audubon Aquarium Plaza. Sample wine from national and international vineyards. With an “Around the World” theme focusing on cultural regions with wine and food in each selected area. Live music entertainment will be going throughout the evening to keep the fun going.

November 11, 2018  12th Annual Oak Street Po-boy Festival
New Orleans, Louisiana
Featuring over 50 food vendors serving the best-tasting po-boys in New Orleans, two stages with live music, panel discussions covering the history of the po-boy and the Oak Street corridor, and an expanded Kid's World.  The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival (formerly the New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival) was named the Best Food Festival by Gambit readers for the third year in a row! Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and we can't wait to see you at this year's Festival!   Attendance: 50,000.

November 12-15, 2018  IBWA & NAMA Annual Business Conferences
New Orleans, Louisiana
The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) and the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) will again conduct two of their conferences over the same dates and at the same location.

November 16-17, 2018  Annual Beef Tongue Cook-Off
Eunice, Louisiana
Food cook off and Barn Dance.  Come out to Lakeview Park to see who is the Beef-Tongue Master!  Entry is free for campers.  Registration for non-campers is $10 per team The winner will receive a weekend RV stay!  People's Choice tasting will be from 1:00pm till Barn Dance Saturday night 8pm to 12am. Family friendly, all ages welcome.  $10 Door for adults, $5 for kids age 4 - 18. Camp for 2 nights and receive 2 free tickets to dance.
