Attendance: 8,000. November 3-5, 2023 55th Louisiana Pecan Festival - Colfax, Louisiana Festival events include the Grand Parade, live music, contests, fireworks and the Queen's Ball. First full weekend in November. November 4-5, 2023 Giant Omelette Celebration - Abbeville, Louisiana The cooking of a 5,000 Egg Omelette! Authentic Cajun Food, Art Show, Musical Entertainment, Antique Car Show, Kid's World, and much more! November 9, 2023 Annual Taste of Crowley - Crowley, Louisiana From 5:30 - 9:00 pm. This year's event will be held at The Grand Opera House, 505 N. Parkerson Avenue, in historic downtown Crowley. Taste of Crowley is an annual community event to promote Crowley’s main street district and cultural assets, as part of the Louisiana State Main Street program. This year’s event will feature live entertainment, an art exhibit by local artists, food samples from local restaurants. November 9-12, 2023 Port Barre Cracklin Festival Port Barre, Louisiana The Cracklin Cook-Off is one of the highlights of each Cracklin Festival. The Cook-Off is not only a test of cracklin cooking ability, but showmanship as well. November 10, 2023 Big Boy's Main Street Cook Off Thibodaux, Louisiana The event is a culinary showcase of Cajun cuisine cooked by local chefs. In a two-block area of downtown Thibodaux, you will find dozens of cooks competing in the competion and can sample their dishes. November 17-18, 2023 14th Annual Beef Tongue Cook-Off Eunice, Louisiana Food cook off and Barn Dance. Come out to Lakeview Park to see who is the Beef-Tongue Master! Entry is free for campers. Registration for non-campers is $10 per team The winner will receive a weekend RV stay! People's Choice tasting will be from 1:00pm till Barn Dance Saturday night 8pm to 12am. The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival (formerly the New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival) was named the Best Food Festival by Gambit readers for the third year in a row!
