November 7-9, 2025  57th Louisiana Pecan Festival - Colfax, Louisiana
Festival events include the Grand Parade, live music, contests, fireworks and the Queen's Ball.  First full weekend in November.

November 15, 2025  Beignet Fest - New Orleans, Louisiana
Beignet Fest celebrates New Orleans’ most iconic dessert: the beignet. From traditional sweet treats to savory delicacies that feature seafood, cheese and more, Beignet Fest serves up the best beignets in the South. In true New Orleans tradition, Beignet Fest features a myriad of restaurant vendors; local and regional musical entertainment; and family-friendly activities in the Kid’s Village presented by Ochsner Hospital for Children.  Awards are given for best traditional, best sweet, best savory, and crowd-favorite beignets. Proceeds from Beignet Fest benefit the Tres Doux Foundation.

November 16, 2025  17th Annual Oak Street Po-boy Festival
New Orleans, Louisiana
Featuring over 50 food vendors serving the best-tasting po-boys in New Orleans, two stages with live music, panel discussions covering the history of the po-boy and the Oak Street corridor, and an expanded Kid's World.  The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival (formerly the New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival) was named the Best Food Festival by Gambit readers for the third year in a row! Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and we can't wait to see you at this year's Festival!   Attendance: 50,000.

November 22-23, 2024  Annual Beef Tongue Cook-Off
Eunice, Louisiana
Food cook off and Barn Dance.  Come out to Lakeview Park to see who is the Beef-Tongue Master!  Entry is free for campers.  Registration for non-campers is $10 per team The winner will receive a weekend RV stay!  People's Choice tasting will be from 1:00pm till Barn Dance Saturday night 8pm to 12am. Family friendly, all ages welcome.  $10 Door for adults, $5 for kids age 4 - 18. Camp for 2 nights and receive 2 free tickets to dance.

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  From 3pm to 6pm as we travel through different regions spanning the globe at the beautiful Audubon Aquarium Plaza. Sample wine from national and international vineyards. With an “Around the World” theme focusing on cultural regions with wine and food in each selected area. Live music entertainment will be going throughout the evening to keep the fun going.

November 8-10, 2019 - Annual Pecan Festival - Harahan, Louisiana
St. Rita School.  The Annual Pecan Festival will have three days of rides, games and family entertainment. From festival staples like funnel cakes and hot dogs, to Pecan Fest specialties from Oak Oven to Abita Pecan Harvest, you're sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst. Maybe even pecan pie!

Saint Basil's International Food Festival
Metairie, Louisiana
Across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and in many other countries, having a meal is an event filled with family, great food and wonderful conversation. St. Basil Antiochian Orthodox Church in Metairie is bringing back the tradition of breaking bread together. But instead of the traditional three-hour meal, the congregation wants to break bread for two days with music, dancing, and a celebration of cultures from around the world!

Bucktown Seafood Festival
Metairie, Louisiana
The festival, which is free and open to the public, is the school’s largest fundraiser and all revenue raised during this event is used for the direct benefit of the students. From new food vendors to new games for little children to engage in, this will be the best weekend in Bucktown.  The Bucktown Seafood Festival is St. Louis King of France School’s largest fundraiser, and all monies raised during this event are used entirely to benefit our students. We are proud of our ability to offer superior educational opportunities to our students while maintaining small class sizes. We are grateful for your support!

Well its that time of year again. The St. Clement of Rome OysterFest begins this evening at 6:00pm. Come get some of Drago's famous charbroiled oysters and listen to some great music by The Funky Beans followed by GROOVY 7.
