June 1, 2012  Bon Mange' Festival - Gheen, Louisiana
"Good eating" festival with cajun food, music, dancing, rides, and games.

June 2-3, 2012  New Orleans Oyster Festival - New Orleans, Louisiana
The New Orleans Oyster Festival will educate the country about the benefits of the Louisiana Gulf Oyster, honor and celebrate the restaurateurs and oyster farmers who have solidified the New Orleans French Quarter's position as the "Oyster Capital of America"

June 3-5, 2012  International Dairy-Deli-Bake Seminar & Expo - New Orleans, Louisiana
This is the largest show for the dairy, deli, bakery, and foodservice professional. The retail buyers, merchandisers, brokers, distributors, and manufacturers come from all over the world for this important buying and educational event.

June 8-10, 2012  Louisiana Corn Festival - Bunkie, Louisiana
Held the second full weekend in June each year, this will be the 26th annual event, promoting our city and the impact agriculture has on it and the people in the area.

June 9-10, 2012  Creole Tomato Festival - New Orleans, Louisiana
June in New Orleans means the arrival of Creole Tomato dishes on local restaurant menus, in farmers markets, and at roadside stands. Typically the crop arrives in early June, which is why the French Market’s Creole Tomato Festival is always held the second weekend of that month.

June 22-23, 2012  Squire Creek Louisiana Peach Festival - Ruston, Louisiana
A family-oriented event produced by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and held each year the fourth weekend of June.

June 22-23, 2012  Le Festivale de la Viande Boucanee - Ville Platte, Louisiana
Better known as the Smoked Meat Festival, this two day event is promoted by Chapter 632 of the Vietnam Veterans of America and is held on the last full weekend of June each year in the "Smoked Meat Capital of the World". It showcases the Cajun heritage, friendly people, delicious foods, toe-tapping music and natural beauty of the region.

June 22-24, 2012  Louisiana Catfish Festival - Des Allemands, Louisiana
Sample from a wide variety of catfish dishes: including catfish platters, catfish boats, catfish po-boys and catfish sauce piquante. Rides, games, road races, and catfish-eating contest. Country store, plant booth and crafts. Live music.
 

 


June 23-24, 2012  Lacombe Crab Festival - Lacombe, Louisiana
Enjoy a weekend of great family fun with food, entertainment, gumbo cook-off competition, artwork, and carnival rides, all set under the majestic live oaks at John Davis Park.

June 28-30, 2012  7th Annual Beauregard Parish Watermelon Festival - DeRidder, Louisiana
Beauregard Parish Watermelon Festival -Home of the Sugartown Watermelon. There will be a host of watermelon games and events, as well as live music and entertainment. Come and taste some of the sweetest watermelons in Louisiana!

July 25-29, 2012  Tales of the Cocktail - New Orleans, Louisiana
An internationally acclaimed annual festival of cocktails, cuisine and culture. July 26-28, 2012  49th Annual Louisiana Watermelon Festival - Farmerville, Louisiana
The Watermelon Festival is celebrated each year as a way of promoting the watermelon industry and showing pride in their harvest. Activities include: tennis tournaments, photo contests, best decorated window, arm wrestling, 5-K run, watermelon auction, watermelon quality and tasting competition motorcycle poker run, street dance, parade and much more.

Celebrates the abundance of seafood that plays a tremendous part in the heritage and culture of the city.  Feast on a variety of Louisiana seafood. The event will feature local restaurants and local music within the atmosphere of the historic French Quarter.

June 19, 2011  Real Men Cook - New Orleans, Louisiana
Real Men Cook promotes male involvement, education, outreach and advocacy on food resources, healthy eating, healthcare and public policies on these issues. Takes place each year on Father's Day in cities across the U.S. A national movement-get involved!
