November 4-5, 2016 Calvary Lions Mule Day - Calvary, Georgia
Only about 200 people call Calvary home, but on the first Saturday of November, every year, Calvary's population grows up to between 60,000 and 90,000 (not counting mules). The reason for this - Calvary Lions Club annual Mule Day Festival. Proceeds of which go to Lions Sight programs and local charities. Enjoy a big parade with mules, horses and antique tractors; contests, and all day entertainment, while remembering Mule Day is to celebrated the mules significant contribution to the area's agriculture. Come early to visit over 450 arts & crafts exhibitions, concessions, cane grinding, and syrup making all make Mule Day a time to remember. Come on out and join us for a full day of fun - We look forward to seeing you!

35th Annual Big Pig Jig
An award winning BBQ competition with 120 teams and 20,000 spectators. Includes battle of the bands, food concessions, crafts, children's activities, academic scholorship competition, golf tournament, livestock show and more. The southeast's largest and Georgia's oldest Official barbecue cooking contest. Big Pig Jig was born in Vienna, Georgia when a group of self-professed gourmets made wagers on who among them could cook the most succulent pig!.
November 5, 2016 Hopped Up On Georgia Brews - Savannah, Georgia
Excitement is building for the 3rd annual Hopped up on Georgia Brews event that will be part of Harvest Fest during First Saturday on River Street. The tasting event will feature offerings from over 20 Georgia Breweries, many of which are creating specialty brews specifically for this event. All inclusive VIP tickets are available and include unlimited tastings, access to special offerings, admission to educational talks given by the creative minds behind these Georgia Brew Houses, and a souvenir pilsner tasting glass.

We’ll demolish pumpkins from The Rock Ranch until they’re all destroyed! Plus, enjoy all other activities and attractions at The Rock Ranch. November 5-6 & 11-12, 2016 10th Annual Ricefest - Riceboro, Georgia
The Riceboro Rice Festival is an annual celebration held the first and second weekends of November each year honoring rice farming, which was a major economic activity in the coastal region of Liberty County in the City of Riceboro, Georgia. The 1st Rice Festival was held in downtown Riceboro in 2007. The Festival also commemorates the legacy of the people who lived in the coastal areas of the United States. These people were called Gullah Geechee and have influenced the coastal areas of North Carolina to northern Florida with their culture, through music, language, and food. The Festival includes: Miss Liberty County Rice Festival Pageant, the Gospel Fest, the Homecoming Dance and Social, the Rice Festival Parade, the Rice Festival Cook Off, and the Festival of Events. There are many historical exhibits and demonstrations, with local entertainment, and Giveaways planned as part of the celebration.
November 7-3, 2016 Savannah Food & Wine Festival
This year's Savannah Food & Wine Festival will translate into a bigger and better event. The Taste of Savannah will now take place in Ellis and Johnson Squares, and the River Street Stroll will be in an expanded area. Plans are still being finalized on several new events and venues. Exciting and much anticipated events have been released for this year's festival. New events include the Candle Light Home Tour and Olde World Wine & Dine.

The city of Toccoa welcomes the Christmas season the first weekend of December with the annual ChristmasFest in the Historic Downtown area. Just in time to kick off the season, this magical event is staged from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday and continues Saturday and is guaranteed to ignite the Christmas spirit for all who attend.
December 2-4, 2016 Christmas on the River - Savannah, Georgia
It’s a holiday celebration on Historic River Street! Rousakis Plaza will be full of regional arts & crafts exhibitors with holiday gifts and stocking stuffers to check off of your Christmas list. Music and local entertainment will take place on the Arbor Stage throughout the weekend leading up to Savannah’s Lighted Christmas Parade.
December 31, 2016 4th Annual “Up the Cup” Countdown
Raise a toast to the New Year in true Savannah-Style at the Savannah Waterfront Association’s 4th Annual “Up the Cup” Countdown. The New Year’s Eve celebration will take place Saturday,December 31 from 8pm-12am on historic River Street. Don’t miss out on a digital light show, countdown clock, and a non-traditional “ball drop” with a Savannah twist! Countdown the final seconds of 2016 as we raise (not drop!) our six foot to-go cup to the New Year! The “Up the Cup” countdown will start right before midnight followed by a firework display to officially ring in 2017!

November 8, 2015 Savannah Urban Garden Alliance Coop Tour
Join The Savannah Urban Garden Alliance on a tour of Savannah’s backyard chicken coops. Join the guided tour on a trolley or follow by car. Meet fellow Savannahians and Islanders who are raising chickens in their own backyard and get firsthand knowledge on how to do it yourself! SUGA board members will also be on hand throughout the event to answer all your questions. The tour will start and end at Economy Feed and Seed, followed by complimentary food and drinks. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction with a chance to win a number of prizes!

November 20-21, 2015 National BBQ Cup - Cumming, Georgia
Located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, the city of Cumming and their wonderful fairground facility is the host of this 2 day event benefiting three of our local charities. With a variety of different food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, product demonstrations, live entertainment, and a kids zone that will contain a huge variety of fun for the kids and at the heart, of course, the KCBS sanctioned bbq cook-off that will include an opportunity for you to taste championship Que and decide for yourself just which is the best. There’s sure to be something for everyone!
