Hosted by the Pilot Club of Eatonton, GA, the annual Putnam County Dairy Festival is an exciting day for the whole family. As a tribute to the dairy industry and local dairy families, the festival acknowledges the success of Putnam County as a leading dairy county in Georgia. Through the efforts of the Pilot Club and with the cooperation of the Putnam County Commissioners and Sheriff’s Department, the Mayor, City Council and Police Department of Eatonton, Chamber of Commerce, and many local organizations, businesses and industries of Putnam County, the Dairy Festival is a fun time for all. The festival engenders a feeling of good will and civic pride. Along with the festival, many other activities are planned which bring visitors and families back to the community such as class reunions, family gatherings, etc.

June 2, 2024  Heritage Fire - Savannah, Georgia
Heritage Fire is a three-hour live-fire event focused on education and delivering moments of culinary awakening. Taking place in 14 cities, the walk-around reception features an all-inclusive bacchanal feast paired with thoughtful bites prepared by some of the most critically acclaimed kitchens in each market, with products from locally sourced farms and sponsors. The festivities includes fun and interactive activations, as well as the crowning of your city’s Heritage Hero.

Cordele has made a name for itself with its Annual Watermelon Days Festival, the oldest in the state of Georgia.  Celebrating the bountiful summer harvest with the "Watermelon Days Festival". A month chock full of good, clean, watermelon FUN! Visitors come from near and far to enjoy events such as the 4H Dog Show, Seed Spitting Contest, Watermelon Horseshoe Tournament, Fishing Rodeo, Watermelon Decorating Contest, "Wedding Game", Watermelon Chunking Contest, Gospel Singing and much, much more.

June 9-10, 2023  Three Rivers BBQ Fest - Hazlehurst, Georgia
Professional pitmasters from across the state converge on Jeff Davis County the first full weekend in May each year to compete for over $5,000 in cash and trophies. The cook-off is sanctioned by the Georgia Barbecue Association and is sponsored by the Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis Board of Tourism.

June 3, 2017 - Covered Bridge 'Que Festival - Euharlee, Georgia
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR 2017.

June 3-25, 2017  Georgia Wine Country Festival - Dahlonega, Georgia
Held annually every weekend in June at Three Sisters Vineyards in Dahlonega-Lumpkin County, the event will include unique musical guests, farm exhibits, folk art, and vendors. Various Georgia charities have been invited to participate.  A "Georgia Wine Garden" will be presented to "winelovers" 21 and older for a fee. Food will be available for purchase.

June 25, 2017  Cochon555  - Atlanta, Georgia
Cochon555, the signature culinary competition featuring five chefs cooking five heritage breed pigs in a friendly competition for a cause.

Enjoy two complete days of the finest wine, jazz, food and artists.   The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are located along the shores of beautiful Lake Chatuge in the north Georgia mountain community of Hiawassee, two hours from Atlanta, Greenville, Ashville and Chattanooga.
