July 23, 2016 - Atlanta Ice Cream Festival - Atlanta, Georgia
No, you’re not dreaming— there IS an entire day dedicated to America’s favorite frozen treat and it does not disappoint! On July 23 from 11AM – 6PM, the Atlanta Ice Cream Festival will bring together a wide variety of ice cream vendors, family-friendly activities, and health and fitness programs. Free admission.

July 23-31, 2016  Atlanta Downtown Restaurant Week
With more than 35 participating restaurants this year, gourmet prix-fixe menus will range from $15, $25 or $35 for brunch, lunch and/or dinner options. Prices are per person and exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity.

July 30, 2016  Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival - Marietta, Georgia
End the summer at the Atlanta Back 2 School Food Festival. It is a kid friendly event featuring  food, music, clothing, and information on health, education, art, and after-school care programs for families. Enjoy a culinary experience from Metro Atlanta's restaurants, caterers, and food trucks.  This year we will be graced with a cooking demonstration by the 2015 winner of First Lady Michelle Obama's 4th Annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge winner for the State of Georgia, Corey Jackson, Jr.  as well as the renowned Chef Curtis Aikens of the Food Network. August 14, 2016  Share Our Strength's Give Me Five
Atlanta, Georgia
Join us for this highly anticipated annual dinner featuring five of Georgia's finest chefs who will prepare an exclusive and tantalizing five-course dinner with wine perfectly paired by five of Georgia's best sommeliers. Each extraordinary course will be accompanied by commentary from our chefs and sommeliers. One in five children in America struggles with hunger, but together, we can make No Kid Hungry a reality.

August 20, 2016  Crane Creek Vineyard’s 9th Annual Tomato Festival
Young Harris, Georgia
Help us celebrate the fruit of the other vine and celebrate all things tomato!  Time: 11am-6pm.  • Local food vendors will be here giving out samples of food.  • Hayrides will be offered.   • Bring the entire family out for a day of wine, food and live music provided by Cornbread Ted and The Butterbeans.  • There will be a kids art tent as well as a fishing rodeo.  • Come try our wines and enjoy a tomato themed lunch prepared by Chef David and his Culinary Team!  Tickets: $20.00 per person for 21 and over or $10 for under 21. Your ticket price includes your entry, wine tasting, souvenir glass, lunch and admission to all of the festivities.

Every summer in Atlanta, the German Bierfest celebrates the greatness of German beer in a family-friendly environment. Complete with German food, activities for the kids, music and fun, this is not only the only authentic German Bierfest in Atlanta, but the only family-friendly beer festival as well.

August 26-28, 2016 - AquaCurean - Savannah, Georgia
AquaCurean is a gourmet seafood, spirits and music celebration, taking place at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. As the name of the event “AquaCurean” implies water and epicurean, the event will showcase some of best seafood and hand-crafted spirits from Savannah and around the country. The AquaCurean Challenge includes a seafood recipe competition and a hand-crafted cocktail competition. The mission of this event is to create a community event that draws participation from the local and national stages. Moreover, its goal is to raise money for children’s charities here in Savannah.

August 30, 2015  The Atlanta Meatball Festival - Atlanta, Georgia
Get ready Atlanta for the first ever Atlanta Meatball Festival showcasing one of the world's most beloved beef-pork-lamb-chicken (and sometimes seafood!) combos. Join us as Atlanta's favorite restaurants will prepare a wide selection of mouthwatering meatball dishes in this "battle of the balls" competition under the big top tents.   The event will benefit the nonprofit, Open Hand. Celebrating 26 years of service in Atlanta, Open Hand is the largest community-based provider of home delivered meals and nutrition education in the country. Their mission is to help people prevent or better manage chronic illness by using nutrition and nutrition counseling as tools to achieve improved health outcomes.

Dozens of the best chefs in the South team up with a selection of fabulous tomato farmers to produce an afternoon of tomato-inspired dishes. Music, cocktails and food. A benefit for Georgia Organics.

July 27, 2013  Food Meets Fashion Festival - Atlanta, Georgia
The nation's leading, creative real food festival that raises awareness and find a cure for diabetes. This fusion of food and fashion is a fundraiser event for American Diabetes Association and features restaurants, retailers, and food vendors that provide organic, raw, vegan, gluten free, or vegetarian foods. Enjoy food samples, an edible fashion runway show, silent auction, live music, and a Zumbathon. One plate can make a difference!

July 14, 2012  Tomato Sandwich Festival - Canton, Georgia
Tomato Sandwich Festival is held in conjunction with the Canton Farmers Market in Downtown Canton in Cannon Park. The festival will from 11am-2pm. The Farmers Market is 8am-12pm. There will be a tomato contest and hand made bread contest. Come on out and have the of your life.
