13th Annual Grace Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival
Conyers, Georgia
New Bigger Location! Family-oriented, community event filled with attractions and activities for all ages.  Experience the best in Caribbean culture and cuisine.  Activities include jerk preparation demonstrations, the crowning of Atlanta’s Top Jerk Chef, live reggae and calypso bands, a kids' playground, games tent, and domino tournaments…something for the entire family.

September 6-October 28, 2018 - 48th Annual Oktoberfest
Helen, Georgia
Beer, brats, bands and Lederhosen - the Helen Oktoberfest has them all. Join the longest running Oktoberfest in the United States.

September 7-8, 2018  South Georgia BBQ & Outdoor Festival
Douglas, Georgia
Get ready Coffee and surrounding counties for a combination of events that will be sure to provide enjoyment for all ages.  NEW location this year!  We will be at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport (440 Elton D. Brooks Blvd).  Event will include a GBA sanctioned BBQ competition, FREE outdoor concert on Friday night, DJ on Saturday, motorcycle show and dice run, car show, arts & crafts, outdoor vendors and more.  The South Georgia BBQ & Outdoor Festival is open to the public.

September 8, 2018  15th Annual Flowery Branch Car Show & Chili Cookoff - Flowery Branch, Georgia

Jekyll Island, Georgia
The Shrimp & Grits Festival is about two Southern favorites – Georgia shrimp and grits. Combine that with the beautiful scenery of Jekyll Island and you have a festival that will tickle your taste buds and engage all of your senses. The weekend is full of interactive, outdoor experiences, entertainment, and great food.

September 20-30, 2018  North Georgia State Fair - Marietta, Georgia
The 82nd annual fair will feature blue ribbon competitions, exhibits, concerts, flower show, pageant, delicious fair foods, and so much more!  Attendance: 300,000.

September 21-22, 2018  Doc Holiday BBQ Championship
Griffin, Georgia
Teams from across the state will be firing up their grills, smokers, and attitudes in order to knock the socks off the GA Barbecue Association judges, and to win glory, bragging rights, and cash prizes.

September 22, 2018  22nd Annual Plains Peanut Festival
Plains, Georgia
The annual Plains Peanut Festival is centered around one of the Sumter County community's claims to fame, its peanut production, and features the community's most famous residents in active roles.  The festival kicks off with a 1-mile fun run and a 5-K road race.  People line the sidewalks of Plains each year to watch the unique entries in the parade downtown.  Visitors enjoy the all-day event and educational exhibits are on display to accent the importance of agriculture in this region.

September 22, 2018  A Taste of Gainesville - Gainesville, Georgia
The Plaza at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue, Clarks Bridge Road, Gainesville, Georgia.  Dine under the stars with wonderful food from the top restaurants in NE Georgia and live music! Tickets purchased in advance are $25.00 and are available through LLRC members or through PayPal. Tickets purchased at the gate are $35.00. Tables may be reserved for an additional $40.00 for a table of 8, $50.00 for a table of 10. Kids under age 10 admitted FREE.

September 10-30, 2016 - Apple Pickin' Jubilee - Ellijay, Georgia
Weekends.  Hillcrest Orchards farm festival featuring U-Pick apples, cow milking, pig races, mule and tractor drawn wagon rides, playgrounds with giant slides, pedal cart and trike rides, and a Farmhouse and Moonshine Museum. Visitors enjoy the unique petting farm in  where children can hug and feed lots of baby farm animals.
