BARBECUE SAUCE, COMFORTING

2 Cups Yellow Onion -- chopped fine 1 Cup Celery -- chopped fine 1 Cup Green Bell Pepper -- chopped fine 1/2 Cup Parsley -- chopped 1 Cup Peanut Oil 2 Tablespoons Garlic Cloves -- minced 3 Cups A-1® Steak Sauce 1/2 Cup Louisiana Hot Sauce 3 Cups Ketchup Salt -- to taste 1 Cup Southern Comfort, 80 Proof
In a large skillet, saute onions, celery, bell pepper and parsley in peanut oil until onions are clear or tender.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and cover. Cook for 2 to 3 hours.
