Step One1 pound Onions -- finely chopped1/4 pound Celery -- finely chopped1/4 cup Green Peppers -- finely chopped1/2 cup Olive Oil Step Two1 1/2 tablespoons Garlic -- minced Step Three3 Quarts Tomatoes, Diced -- canned1 1/2 Quarts Tomato PureeSalt and Pepper -- to taste1 whole Bay Leaves1/2 teaspoon Oregano1/2 teaspoon Thyme1/2 teaspoon Marjoram1/2 teaspoon Basil1 tablespoon Sugar1 cup Beef Stock (for Meat Sauce) Option1 pound Ground Beef (for Meat Sauce) -- CookedDIRECTIONS[1) Saute ingredients in STEP ONE for 10 - 15 minutes.[2) Add Garlic, cook another 10 minutes.[3) Add Ingredients from STEP THREE and simmer for 2 hours.[4) Add Ground Beef for Meat Sauce.
